James POV

I got home. I was so fucking thirsty that I drank five blood bags. Us vampires are half human, that's why we need blood frequently, because our bodies kind of 'eats it', I know it sounds stupid, but I don't know how to describe it exactly, our bodies somehow manages to 'disappear' the blood in our system, so that's basically why I need to drink human blood frequently. Yes, we all have super speed and different other powers. No, we don't bloody burn in the sun, that's a stupid fucking cliché; just because a fu kinh crazy guy burned in the middle of the day, doesn't mean that us vampires burn at sunlight. He was drunk and thought that it was a good idea to take a bath of gasoline then walking on the street and bumping into a guy that was smoking who accidentally dropped his cigar on him and the gasoline on him got fire killing him right there.
Anyway, everyone were asleep, so I went to sleep too. Tomorrow I have school, and I'll see Sofia again.

My alarm clock woke me up. I showered. I chose a green t-shirt and some pants that I picked randomly not caring if they combined or not, because I knew that no matter what I wore, Sofia would still like me and hang with me. My father, Mathew and George were in the kitchen getting ready to leave for work.

I drank two blood packs and went to school. I didn't saw Sofia at her locker like I do every day, maybe she's in the music room? I went there as well and there she was. Sitting on the floor with a guitar singing beautifully. Her eyes were closed as she sang and I must say that it was one of the most beautiful sights I've ever seen. I sat beside her admiring her beauty and talent. She really is one of a kind. The next few days were the same, us hanging out in the music room almost every day. So far, Mark hasn't approached Sofia in anyway and I am satisfied about that, for now. She went to the mall with her friends looking for a dress. I already offered to buy her one, but she stubbornly declined my offer. We had a staring contest were the one that laughs first loses and Sofia ended winning. I accused her of cheating case she kept making funny fucking faces that were adorable and it was impossible not to laugh at her cuteness. So now I'm in my room struggling with this fucking tie. I swear that I'm going to have a long talk with the person that invented these and its not going to be a polite one. They're literally a portable death trap. At any moment someone can come up and strangle you with it, in my case I'm safe cause I'm a vampire, but what about every other human male?! I glanced at the time and I have to go pick up Sofia now. I went to my car with the tie in my hands. I'll just put it on while I wait for her.

Sofia's POV

"Ow! You burned me!" I cried in pain. Amanda was currently curling my hair and Natalie and Jane were doing my makeup.

"Sorry Soph! I'm almost done." Amanda apologized.

"Oh my God! I can't believe that your first date ever is going to be with the hottest guy in school!" Natalie squealed.

"Its not a date. Its just a party. He told me that its one of those very boring parties were old people talk about business and boring stuff, so he invited me to keep him company and 'keep him sane' as he said. We're just friends, nothing else." I replied and Jane scoffed.

"You're really oblivious and naïve Sophie. That's just an excuse to spend more time with you. He clearly doesn't think of you as just a friend."
