James'sPOV

I woke up at a sudden movement on the bed and I brought her closer to me trapping her by placing my legs around her. She giggled and I smiled. I slowly opened my eyes taking in my surroundings. Walls covered in a light blue, pink, green, yellow and white patterns with a few black designs to contrast. A fan with lights on the ceiling, air conditioner in a corner, posters of Green Day, Linkin Park, Nicki Minaj and Chris Brown. There was also a big mirror which was the door to her walk in closet, don't judge me, but I took the liberty to inspect all of her clothes and all it did was turn me on, picturing her in that lace lingerie.

Oh God! Stop it James! She's laying right next to you!

Don't. Lose. Control. With. Her.

I blinked a few times and noticed that on the ceiling there were big pictures of Sofia's friends, family and one of me when we were in one of the school's tree reading and hanging out. I was wearing a white t-shirt with black jeans and a dark blue Aeropostale hoddie. I remember that she was smiling when she took it and I chuckled at the memory. I also noticed that there wasn't a single picture of her and that made me frown. She's so beautiful and she doesn't know it. Every time someone asks her to take a picture with them, she refuses in a polite way and instead takes a picture of them with their phone.

"Good morning." She says snapping me out of my thoughts and turning around so she was facing me with a beautiful smile on her face.

"Good morning sleeping beauty." I said pecking her on the lips which by the way tasted like mint with strawberry.

"Can you please let me go to the bathroom? Us humans have what we call biological needs." I laughed at her statement and released her from my embrace. She went to her closet and picked a pair of shorts and a black with hot pink sweat shirt.

"Uh, Soph. I'm going home really quick. I'm very thirsty. I won't be long."

"Thirsty? Oh right! You mean blood. I forgot that you're a vampire."

"Yeah, I try to be as human as possible. I don't want to scare you."

"You won't. You already have me under your spell."

"Spell uh!" Then I got up and tickled her. She squirmed in my arms with one hand on her mouth to keep her from screaming and the other trying to release herself from my tight grip. After two minutes, I released her and she was panting.

"I hate you." She tries to keep a straight face, but fails to do so and laughs.

"You love me" I say and I saw her blush. I peck her lips and turn around. I grab my shirt from the chair and shake the slight dust it had away. I hear coughing and turn around to find Sofia bent over and struggling to breathe.

"Sofia! What's wrong?" I ask starting to freak out. She just shook her head and went to her nightstand and pulled out an inhaler from the cabinet and inhaled the medicine a few times. I rushed by her side completely freaking out. She turns to face me and hugs me tightly.

"I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to.." I start, but she cuts me off.

"Shh. It's okay. I have asthma, so its not your fault."

"Asthma? But you look healthy and you play sports and you've never had a attack since I met you." I said and she just smiled.

"That's because I take care of myself. You see, even though this is my first attack since I was ten, its totally normal. My doctor said that if I kept on taking the medicine he prescribed me and taking precautions with the food I eat, the attacks would become more infrequent. With time I forgot about it and stopped being so careful, so I guess that thanks to you for shaking the dust from your shirt, you may have saved my life, after all it happened in my room where I happen to have a inhaler for emergencies. So thank you. "

"Well, don't scare me like that again. I can't bear the thought of losing you." I said pulling her closer to me.

"Don't worry. I'm not that easy to get rid of." She said trying to maintain a serious face, but after seconds of staring into each other's eyes, her lips slowly pulled up revealing that beautiful smile of her and I laugh lightly at her pure innocence, grace and kindness that made me fall deeply in love with her.

"Well, I should get going now. I can hear your dad waking up. I'll be back in ten minutes."

"Okay, be safe. Oh! and when you return, come through the front door."

"Why?"

"Because it would be weird that they see you in the house when you haven't came through the front door and knowing my dad, you'll have two seconds to get out of the house, make a new identity and move to another country."

"Oh. You're right."

"I always am." She said and I rolled my eyes. "Hey, do you want to have breakfast with us?"

"Sure!"

"Okay. Um James?"

"Yeah?"

"If you want to go to your home now, you should probably stop hugging me now." She said chuckling and I realized that I was still hugging her. I pull away and we both laugh a little until we hear footsteps getting closer to her door.

"Sofia? Baby, are you okay? What's going on?" Maria (Sofia's mom) asked.

"I'm fine mom. I just tripped over when I got out of my closet, but I'm good. I'm going to shower now." Sofia half shouted and motioned me to leave with a smile on her face. I smiled back and pecked her lips one more time. I grabbed my things and climbed out the window and left at vampire speed to my house.

I opened the door and as soon as I closed it they were all seated in the kitchen staring at me.

"So, what happened last night and where were you?" My father asked with a glass of blood in his right hand. Oh here we go again!
