Hey guys! Welcome to my Q/A Session! Let's get to the questions! :)
1)Writer_Sky Question: How did you get the inspiration to write this? Was it from looking at certain scenes from the game, the gameplay, etc.
Answer: Oooh, I can already feel like this one will be a monologue..... Yes, it did in fact come from looking at certain scenes in the game..... and also anime, but.... *sigh* admittedly, I think you were the main source of inspiration. Yes. You. Not a joke at all. o_o While reading your story, Mario & Luigi: Darkness In Light, I had decided to go on YouTube to watch some gameplays of Mario RPGs, and that was actually the first time I found out about Mario The Music Box. I hadn't even known it existed, and after watching the gameplay, I had gotten attached to it immediately. But, I think you all can relate, I didn't like most of the endings. Meaning, I didn't like how everyone always died. (Hence the second opening in the ARC version. XD)
It was never the fact that I didn't like the game, that was just me. My problem. (A little thing you should know about me, I get a little sensitive and teary-eyed around things like that.) I think the game is amazing, especially the plot, (I love plots.) and to be fair, it's horror game. Of course there are bad endings, horror games always have bad endings. What do you expect? And Team Ari does provide good endings. So I can't complain. Ok, enough about that. Sorry, I tend to get carried away when writing. XD
Anyway, after finding out about it, I was thinking how it would look like if there really was an ending where everyone made it out alive and happy. No more sadness, no more hate. And I saw that in your story. See where I'm going with this? :) So, I made a decision that would change everything. I figured if I wanted a story not only filled with things like that and a good ending, but, also really cool fight scenes at the same time, I would have to make it myself. Not as a burden, but as a gift, for myself and others. And thus, it was born. So, I guess you're to blame. And I couldn't be happier! XD Thank you. 2)Majorfandomshipper Question: do u like this fandom alot and are u a shipper?
Answer: Yeah, I can definitely say for sure, I really do like this fandom. And yes. I am a shipper. A BIG one. I'm also a hopeless romantic, if you couldn't tell from my reading list and my story. 3)FuntimeGeekGirl Question: Out of the original Mario The Music Box, Mario The Music Box ARC and Mario the Music Box remastered, which one would you say you like the most?
Answer: Ha, easy! ARC version, hands down! :) (Mostly because of Marchionne. XD)
Answer: Like I said, I'm an introverted and shy person, but I'm also very compassionate and I'm very funny. I really like to laugh, I'm a very creative person, and my favorite color is pink. My favorite subject in school is also Algebra, so yeah, I'm also a nerd. :)
Question 2: What's your ideal hobby?
Answer: It's a tie between drawing, writing, and reading. I'm a huge bookworm, and I'm proud of it.
Question 3: What are your plans for the future?
Answer: I actually want to be a pediatrician when I grow up, and I even plan on making my book in the future. I'm even working on a graphic novel that I plan to publish when I grow older. :)
Question 4: What was the first fictional story you ever wrote?
Answer: I'm not sure if this counts, but I wrote this small historical fiction story, when I was in, I think, I don't remember much, 4th grade? We were doing some activity in writing, and I was really interested and fascinated by history back then. So, I decided to research about the Boston Tea Party. I had made up this character (Who's name I forgot. XD), a little girl who just so happened to have stumbled upon the whole thing, when she wandered on the ship. I even created some other historical fictional stories, like about Paul Revere's daughter and The Dust Bowl. I thought they were really cool back then, but unfortunately, I never got to finish them. I guess I just forgot about it eventually. ):I But, it does bring back great memories. :)
Question 5: What's your favorite quote?
Answer: Hmmmmm..... darn..... so many..... I guess it would have to be a tie between "And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love," and "If you ever doubt your potential, remember that big oak tree that you look up to, was just a seedling, just like you."
Question 6: If you could go anywhere in the world for one day, where would you go?
Answer: Paris! The city of love! :) (I told you guys, I'm a hopeless romantic. XD)
Question 7: What's your process for writing the story? (I think everyone was waiting for this one. :D)
Answer: I first look over the progress that I've made and I re-read the last chapter, so that I know what to include in the next chapter. I then start to create the details, based off of the last chapter. I then look at some info about the game, so that I know what to include in my story, to make sure that I don't leave anything out. This is where the creativity comes in. :) I then tweak some of the scenes from the game, to make them go along with my story. I then add some really cool scenes that I've either gotten from anime, or novels. I also tend to really focus on the character's behavior and their personality, knowing that they still have to be accurate. I blend them in with my story, and I even occasionally add some character development in the story. As you saw from my recent chapters, Alice seemed a bit less hostile towards Mario, and even shared some of her personal feelings with him. And I even make sure to add some humor in the story, since I really like stories that contain comedic scenes. :)
Question 8: Do you know how the story will end?
Answer: Yep! I am still tweaking some details, but I know most of the major events that will happen.
Question 9: When do you think the story will end?
Answer: Yeesh..... to be frank, I'm actually not so sure about that one. I'm hoping I'll be able to finish it within about 1-2 years at most? I am pretty sure that it won't be too long, but I guess it really depends on how fast I update.....
