The cult members trekked through Evangeline, and they eventually reached the forest, uninterrupted. Helena looked around, noticing all the spirits present. She rose an eyebrow and thought,

'Riba gathered this many spirits? Heh. Wonder what he's planning.....' Dorothy then spoke,

"Ok, you guys will wait here. Riba will come back here eventually to give you instructions." She then turned.

"I'll go search for more spirits." The elder nodded, and glanced at the cult members, saying,

"We will wait here. In the meantime, practice your magic and weapon skills. I have a feeling we will need it for the situation ahead." The cult members bowed and all replied,

"Yes Master!!" They all did as they instructed and some started to interact with some of the spirits. One of the spirits then spoke,

"I see now. At first, I thought I was imagining things, but now it's making sense. I had noticed some of the red spirits had started to decrease time after time. Was it you guys?" The elder glanced at the spirit and smiled.

"At ease. We only kill those that attack us. But yes, that was us." The spirit then asked with a perplexed expression,

"How....?" The elder chuckled and answered,

"We use the curse as a form of backlash, which obliterates the spirit. Very painful." The spirit slowly nodded and looked away thinking,

'Ungh..... something about that man doesn't settle right with me.....' Helena sighed and looked around, thinking,

'A new place where we can live huh? I wonder if it's something similar to my previous hometown.....maybe Mom and Dad would've liked to see it too.....'

*About 10 Years Ago* A little girl happily skipped to a tune she hummed to herself, as she headed towards a small little house. It was located near a small dirt road, where other little houses stood, along with other buildings and people occupying the space, forming a village. The girl was wearing a red t-shirt that was buttoned down and a bright-yellow bow tied around the collar of her shirt. She also wore a small tan-colored skirt, with black leggings that reached to her ankles. She wore black flats for shoes, and her dark-almond colored hair was in twin-tails. A man waved to her, calling out,

"Good morning Helena! Say hi to your parents for me, alright?" She turned to look at the man and gave a cheerful smile, replying with a wave,

"Good morning Mr. Greyar! I'll tell them you said hi!" She continued on, and she eventually reached the small house in front of her. She then reached for the door knob and twisted it, opening the door. She pulled it open and walked inside, glancing around the place. She then called out,

"Mom? Dad?" Only silence responded. She hummed in confusion and walked into the foyer, looking for her parents. She called out again,

"Hey, anybody here....?" Still, no one replied. She then went into the kitchen, where it was also empty. A large counter top stood in the middle of the kitchen, and the contents on it included a basket full of fruit, some newspapers, and other things. But something else caught her eye. There was a present on the counter top. It was a red box, that was tied up with a pink ribbon on top. Her eyes widened at the sight of it and her mouth then formed into a mischievous smile. She quickly looked around and when the coast was clear, she slowly reached for the box, her hands nearly touching it....
