Riba guided the spirits back into the mansion and they walked into the foyer. Riba looked around, but then he frowned. He thought,

'Odd. Where's Mario and Luigi?' One of the spirits called out,

"Riba? I think you're gonna wanna see this." He looked at the spirit and raised an eyebrow. He looked at what the spirit was pointing at and he widened his eyes a bit.

"The basement? But that leads to....." He then realized.

'The dungeon.....? Have those two lost it? There could be potentially dangerous spirits there!' He looked back at the spirits. He told them,

"Head upstairs. Wait for me there. I'm going to look for them alone to avoid suspicion, should they see me." One of the spirits asked with a raised eyebrow,

"Um, is that a good idea? You sure you don't want at least one of us to come with you?" Riba shook his head replying,

"I'm sure. But first....." Riba went to the mansion's office and he pulled out a box that was hidden behind a brown sheet. He pulled open the flaps and took out the object that resided in the box. It was a long, green machete.

                   "Ok. Now I can go."

After Mario, Luigi, and Mercy finished descending the stairs, Mario asked,

"Mercy, have you been here before?" Mercy replied,

"No, I never had any business here." Mario replied,

"I see....." Mario's firehand illuminate the darkness they were in, and he moved it around the space they were in to inspect the area. Alice then told him,

"The dungeons are located behind a door in the basement. Just go to the right." Mario nodded and he said out loud,

"Alice says to head right." Luigi nodded and the three headed to the right. Sure enough, there was a brown door there with a gold-colored doorknob. Alice then said,

"Grab the keys that are hanging on the right." Mario widened his eyes and thought,

'The right-?' He looked and there were in fact keys hanging on the wall. He grabbed them with his left hand and asked,

'Which one opens the door?' Alice answered,

"The one that has tape on it." There were 4 keys, all hanging on a ring. Mario studied them and found the one Alice meant. He inserted the key through the keyhole and turned it. A click sound, and Mario opened the door. He put the keys in his pocket and peeked inside, along with Luigi. It was pretty dark, but Mario could make out a long tunnel of sorts with his firehand. Luigi muttered,

"Mamma mia....." Mario then looked at Luigi and told him,

"Hey Luigi? Use your thunderhand too. My firehand alone won't manage." Luigi nodded and replied,

"Yeah ok....." Luigi raised his hand and blue sparks cracked and sparkled in his hand. The two nodded at each other and walked inside, Mercy following them. Mercy then asked,
