"They're perfect," Ahmed said as he sat in his room on his bed with both Osman and Mehmed in his lap.

"Are you happy my sultan?" I asked from my place beside him.

"Happy? I'm over the moon my Jawhara" he said looking up from the boys to me.

"You gave me not one but two beautiful sons," he said leaning forward and placing a small kiss to my cheek.

"I love you," I said for the very first time. I've been in this palace for a whole year yet this is the first time I told him I loved him. Am I taking too long? Or was me being conscious ok?

"I love you too my Jawhara," he said grinning at me, that's when there was a knock on the door.

"Come in," Ahmed said handing me Osman, I walked over to one of the two small rocking beds Ahmed made placing Osman in it as the door opens to show a guard. Ahmed didn't look at him as he spoke looking at our beautiful son.

"Your majesty, Kosem sultan is outside," the guard said not looking up from the floor

"Your majesty, Kosem sultan is outside," the guard said not looking up from the floor.

"Let her in," Ahmed said handing me Mehmed. I took him from his father and placed him in the other bed beside his brother.

Ahmed extended his hand for me to take which I did, he pulled me to sit beside him making me feel happy as pride filled my chest. Usually, sultans don't like to be seen so close to their woman but Ahmed didn't seem to care at all for those customs.

Kosem walked in and bowed to Ahmed and gave me a nod of knowledge.

"What is it Kosem?" Ahmed asked her still mad at her.

"Your majesty, I came here to tell you why I changed to be like them," she said looking down at her fingers. I and Kosem maybe revel in a way but we still respect each other, unlike Mahiverouz who seemed to always remind us that she was the first so you can say me and Kosem bond over our dislike towards her.

"Safiye sultan kidnapped my father and threatened to kill him if I didn't convince you to let her stay here in the castle," she said tearing up. I gasped standing up and walked over to her consciously and when I saw no signs of hatred I wrapped my arms around her trying to comfort her. She returned my embrace bursting out crying.

"I didn't know what to do so I did what she told me to yet she still killed him," she said leaning her head on my shoulder crying.

"My daughter is my only sign of comfort, I have no one now except her," she said letting go of me to wipe her tears.

"That's not true Kosem, you have me," I said reassuring her.

"I can be your sister if you let me," I said placing my hands on her biceps.

"Thank you," she said genuinely smiling at me in gratitude.

"You can leave Kosem," Ahmed said obviously mad but not at her, at Safiye that snake.

She nodded smiling knowing that she finally let out the truth and that Ahmed knew that she had nothing to do with anything.

"You tooJawhara, take the kids and go rest it's almost night," Ahmed said standing up and walking over to where we stood.

"Of course," I said bowing, he held my shoulder placing a kiss on my forehead. I walked over to the beds and picked up the twins before leaving with Kosem.

"Give me one of them" she offered to take Mehmed from me as we walked back to the Harem.

"They're your sons too Kosem, I don't want to raise my children with hatred, I meant what I said let me be your sister," I said looking at her.

"I know. Fatma is your daughter too" she said with a smile.

When we reached my room Kosem handed Mehmed to Karla before leaving back to her room.

We walked in and placed the sleeping boys in their bed before we all sat on the couches beside the window.

"How come you and Kosem are on talking terms?" Milan asked handing me some grapes.

"She explained why she did what she did and she actually not that bad," I said shrugging my shoulders.

"Trust no one Jawhara," Emily said warningly.

"Sultan, Jawhara Sultan" Milan corrected her making us laugh at her stern ways.

"It's okay Milan you're my friends," I said patting her shoulder trying to make her loosen up.

The doors to my room suddenly opened showing Ahmed standing there looking tired. The three girls got up and bowed to him alongside me before leaving.

"What's wrong Ahmed?" I asked as he walked over after the doors closed after Karla, Milan and Emily.

"Nothing to worry about my Jawhara," he said and sat down on the couch before pulling me to sit on his lap. I wrapped my arms around his neck and placed my forehead on his.

"I missed you," he said making me smile with mischief.

"But you just saw me an hour ago" I teased making him chuckle and tighten his hold on my waist.

"Still I missed you my Jawhara," he said caressing my cheek tenderly.

"I missed you too my Ahmed" I whispered. He crashed his lips to mine in a passionate kiss making my heart flutter.

Suddenly our moment was interrupted by a loud cry of a child, we pulled away as I giggled a little.

"Our little ones want some attention too" I teased getting off his lap and over to the small room attached to my room where the children's bed were.

I picked them both up and walked back over to my room and placed them on my bed where Ahmed already laid. I laid down on the other side so we were both laying on either side of the children.

"Thank you for giving me these handsome boys," Ahmed said making me smile.

"I hope to give you many more" I answered back. He placed a small kiss atop my hand before we both laid down fully with our hands intertwined hugging our children as we both drifted off to sleep.
