I stood on the balcony with Malin and Emily watching as Murad and Orhan sparred in the garden with Kasim, Beyazid, and Ibrahim watching them. My fourteen years old was making sure that his brothers were watching their brothers to learn from them which I found funny since Kasim was only one year older than the other two.

"Malin go check up on Kaya and tell me if she woke up so we can give her medicine" she bowed and left me with Emily on the balcony.

I watched as Murad defeated Orhan and held him close to him speaking to him. I wondered what he said to his brother but to my surprise, Orhan pushed Murad away roughly making stager back and watch as Orhan walked back into the castle which made me frown. Not again, I thought everything was going just fine.

"What did you say, Murad?" I asked myself angrily walked back into my room and into the harem

"What did you say, Murad?" I asked myself angrily walked back into my room and into the harem.

All of the maids stood up and bowed to me but I gave them no mind as I waited for Orhan to come in so I can ask him.

He stormed in his face is red with anger and his fists clenched tightly in his fist ready to punch something or someone.

"Orhan, what's wrong?" I asked making him stop walking and look at me with fire in his eyes.

He decided to ignore me and continue walking to his room angrily. I called after him but he ignored me which made me even more scared.

"What could Murad have said to make Orhan so mad?" I asked Emily worriedly

"What could Murad have said to make Orhan so mad?" I asked Emily worriedly. She seemed to see how my eyes filled with tears of worry so she started pulling me to my room again. I looked after Orhan one sat time before letting myself get dragged back to my room.

I stormed into Murad's room angrily and walked over to where he sat on his desk looking over some papers

I stormed into Murad's room angrily and walked over to where he sat on his desk looking over some papers.

"What did you tell your brother that made him so angry?" I asked trying to calm myself down.

"What could I possible say to anger his majesty?" Murad asked sarcastically getting up and walking over to his bed and sat down on it. I turned around and looked at him with a glare.

"Murad," I said clenching my teeth tightly to not burst angrily at him

"Murad," I said clenching my teeth tightly to not burst angrily at him.

"I told him that I will be taking him with me on the campaign," he said shrugging his shoulders.

"What campaign are you talking about?" I asked confused. I don't remember agreeing to such a thing.

"Well we tried solving the problem with the Greek island your way and they didn't agree so I decided to go on a campaign against them," he said simply like you can just snap your fingers and win a war.

"Murad, are you hearing yourself? You can't just go on a campaign with an army that barely trusts you as their sultan and our dynasty is not prepared for such a thing now" I exploded angrily. He was out of his mind right now.

"Murad this is not children's play anymore," I said calming myself down. I swear I'm gonna get a heart attack soon if Murad and Orhan don't start using their brains soon.

"Well I ordered Silahtar to give out money and gifts to the Janissary and earn their trust," he said tensely.

"Murad you can't win them in one day besides some of them are still not trained" I tried to reason with him. I wasn't ready to lose two of my children because one of them is stupid and the other is a rebel.

"This campaign will go through and you have no say in it or do I have to remind you that a sultan's word will go through even though you're the one running the dynasty because of my apparent young age," he said raising his voice a little as he stood.

"That's now it is then?" I asked tearing up as I saw my son slip through my fingers.

"Mother I-" I raised my hand silencing him before he could continue.

"Do whatever you see right but if you or your brother die do not blame me. If you lose this war do not come running over to me in tears for I won't welcome you" I walked out of his room trying hard to hold back my tears.

"Mother please!" He called after me but I ignored him and continued walking back to the harem refusing to speak with Emily on the way and Malin and Karla in the safety of my room.

"Leave me alone" I ordered all of the maids in the room including the head three. They all bowed and left me alone.

That night I refused to eat dinner and went to bed stomach empty and head full. My son could be leading himself and his brother to their death. I won't forgive him if he hurts himself or his brother.

My boys and girls are I have left to live for or my life would be tasteless without them. Ahmed, please protect them where I can not. I can't believe something like this is happening to our family. Orhan's rebelliousness and Murad's temper are bringing this family down to its ruins.

I will pray day and night for their safe return, for their victorious return and I will not stop a day. I may not agree with this war but u sure will support them through it and I will see through that they survive this. I will speak with Ali pasha and even Husain who I still didn't trust but have to for the time being.

I won't lose another part of my soul and that's a promise to my children and myself. I've already failed two of them and I won't be failing anymore. I thought I failed Handan but apparently not and I hope she stays as happy for the rest of her life. Husain wasn't as bad as I thought but let's hope he keeps up with our expectations.
