Chapter 12: Loyalty of the Soul

I followed him to a nice estate of which I hid behind the wall surrounding the building. I was able to leap on the top of the wall keeping myself low to not be seen. I watched Agni walk in and the guards let him in, so they were expecting him. I knew he had left the prince's room before multiple times on my way to my room. I merely thought that he was leaving to go to his own room to sleep as well. But Agni.....what could you be doing at this place for? I snuck to the side of the building. I started to climb the side of it as I watched where he was going. I climbed seeing him go upstairs. I slid a window open and closed it ducking from view If I was herd. 

I felt everything he does is for good reason. But I crept the door open feeling I just need to write whatever they say down. That way I have evidence to show my master for the case. Agni.....he gained my trust and respect and with that, I won't take any action he makes without believing a in him. I took notice of a sound and saw Sebastian, Soma, Lau, and my master had snuck here for the same reason. We all watched and listened. 

" You've done well for me, Agni. " " I think we've done all that we need to. " " Stringing up anyone else won't be necessary. " He tossed a newspaper down on the couch Agni was sitting on. I took not of not only what I didn't want to hear but also that Agni's fist was clenched this told me he had a problem with doing so. That gave my both hope and made me want an answer even more. When the man talked about his blessed hand and held it up I saw the fear in his face. 

He mentioned a Royal Warrant which my master repeated. Then he let go and stood in front of him his hands in fists once again. His voice looking down seemed sad

" If I carry out the plan as promised, Mina will... " That made Soma loose his senses and he thrusted the door open exclaiming " Where is Mina?! " The man was startled by him and Agni said " My prince,- " Sebastian covering the masters mouth to not give a sign of others being here and recognize them. An angry Soma grabbed Agni by the collar and yelled infuriated " Agni! You've known where Mina was all along?! " Agni's face held a great sadness at how his god was upset by his actions, that he lied to him. 

The man with the stingy look said with a smile " Oh, so that's your master? " This drew his anger upon the man releasing Agni from his grip.

" And you are the man who took Mina away! Get him! " as he pointed at him looking at Agni giving him the order. " Do you hear me?! " Then I saw Agni his body shuttering as he held in pain looking at him master sweat on his face from resisting himself. " What are you waiting for?! " I understood something was keeping him from doing what his master commanded him. My master said " Let's grab that idiot prince and get out of here " he whispered. When that was said and Lau was saying how they'd be recognized I walked over to the wall and took down a deers head that was mounted on the wall. I put it on my head resting on my shoulders. 

Then the man said almost like he was taunting him. " Well Agni, are you going to take care of this brat for me? " A word that even my master had never even used no matter how annoyed he'd make him.

" This brat?! " Agni's hands were held in tight fists looking down at the floor trembling as he looked like he was going to cry but held back. The man grimiest " Well? " Finally Soma saw his friend struggling. As I made my move when he tried to strike Soma. I blocked his attack with my left wrist surprising everyone in the room. It was more surprising to see me with a deer head on. This made the snobby cruel man panic confused of what was going on. When the man ordered Agni to kill me. Only when he said

" Or are agreement is over! " that's when he fell to his knees as blood started to drip from his eyes as he said " Since I was reborn I have had only one god and one master I vowed that I'd only brandish this fist for my god's sake. I am guilty of betraying that vow..... please forgive me! " I grabbed the prince easily and almost danced him away from the punches he made once he took off the bandages. The greedy man screamed and teared up at the things he was breaking of his. I then ran out the door with the prince on my shoulder. I ended up grabbing some curtains and put it over him as we leaped out of a window. Sebastian carried my master as Lau ran.
