Chapter 4:The Promise of A New Life

[ Pluto P.O.V ]

It was the first day of spring, and I think even though it's not cold anymore. I find that both of us had made a habit of cuddling, but Selene does it kinda timidly; which I found really cute. She understood when I'd leave at night why I did it, but she'd still would be slightly annoyed by it. If she really was upset she'd be sleeping on the other side of the cave from me. I'd be able to make her let up on me. By mostly whimpering and bug-in her till she'd talk to me. Then I apologetically lick her her face. That usually made her quiet for another reason. But she was not as mad at me. She could smell the sent of blood on me after I'd kill someone. She'd ask me and she trusted me when I'd say it was from an arm I found that night for my sculpture. If she got suspicious she could see the newest arm on my sculpture that had a silver ring on it. I think I feel bad not telling her how I got the arm. She'd probably get mad at me and kick me out of the cave If she found out that I did it because Angela told me too. I think If that wasn't something that scared me enough I hated the guilt that hung over my head about it. I've lived with Selene for almost two years and I really like her. I know that she has a hard time trusting people, but she trusts me and the fact that I'm breaking that trust is chewing me up inside. It made me feel upset whenever Angela mentioned her, and whether things were fine between us when I'd visit her alone.

[ Time Skip ]

I had seen a tall, handsome adult with black hair, red eyes, and pale skin. He typically dresses in a butler's outfit, which consists of black trousers, a six-buttoned double-breasted tailcoat, and a gray vest. He has the Phantomhive crest on his shirt cuffs and tie. Sebastian also sports white gloves, a pocket watch, and a chained silver lapel pin bearing the Phantomhive crest, traditionally worn by the house's head butler. He had came after I tried to stop this guy from grabbing onto my arm. I noticed this guy in the suit had taken a glance behind me and when I looked behind me there stood Selene watching. I growled at the guy to keep him from going near her. ' Selene, what are you doing here? Do you know anything of what I've done? ' I tried to deal with this guy, but next thing I know he's giving me rewards and punishment's. At one point Angela had interfered trying to make him stop. I was finally thrown into the ground landing on a hot spring. I hugged Angela after transforming into my human form. I felt glad she was alright and I couldn't see Selene anywhere. I felt tired and wanted to not worry for her. I knew she was smart and strong.

[ Third Person P.O.V ]

As everyone took in the new hot springs. Finny, Mey-Rin, and Baldroy exclaimed turning both Sebastian's and Angela's gaze as they stared at the black demon hound before them

" THE BLACK DOG! " Sebastian was about to go handle this one the same way he did with Pluto. He looked at the hound as the hound looked at him for a good long second. Then out of the water a white blur had appeared in front of the hound. Pluto started a conversation with the hound excluding everyone else. Pluto was wondering If she was alright, but Selene knew what he had done and why. She knew it wasn't his fault that Angela had manipulated him into doing it. This only made the reason she'd get upset that more hurtful to her. But she was alright with Pluto and understood why he lied. Until Sebastian walked up to them. Once he reached them Pluto and Selene stopped to look at him. Pluto was excited that it was Sebastian but was worried about how Selene noticed she was acting differently than how she is with Angela. Selene feeling the powerfully dark vibes emanating from Sebastian and looked him eye to eye. After seeing what he did to Pluto she knew he wasn't human. That wasn't what made her not fight him, it was that she felt a strong truth to him that she could feel she can trust him. She nodded and did a non-violent posture which made Sebastian say not feeling the need to fight

" Well now, this one seems to have a way of respecting those of superior standing. " Angela nodded and said " That's Selene, she doesn't like human's. Though, I'm amazed she is letting you be near her. " they all nodded and headed back to the mayors manor. There Pluto was in his human form and Selene had the decency not to in front of others.
