The following day, the master introduces himself as "Finnian" to the troupe. Joker asks for his specialty, and he claims he is good with darts. Joker classifies it as knife-throwing and tells Dagger to hand him some knives. He then, obliged to toss knives at a target. When he throws a knife, the trajectory is off, and Joker and Dagger are certain that he will not pass: but it suddenly hits its target, which astonishes all of us. The same feat repeats for the successive trials, as I realized Sebastian is secretly flinging stones at the thrown knives to push them to the target. But then Joker proclaimed
" Excellent, now young miss what might you be good at? " he took my hand and looked like he was almost going to kiss it. I retracted my hand and then I felt Pluto standing behind me. Then he looked at us confused then I looked at Pluto and he nodded and then I tapped my throat. He didn't get it then Sebastian said " I'm sorry, but this young miss is trying to tell you that the two of them both Selene and Pluto are in fact mute. " this surprises him and then he tells him a back story that was cool
" They both are together and before the two met us something caused them something traumatic happened and they had never spoken since. Selene is able to write what she's thinking or wants to say down to help communicate though. " then he said " Oh my, I suppose we are all damaged one way or another. That's why we should all be friends. " then he noticed Selene grab two sticks and hand one to Pluto. Then I looked at Pluto and we nodded at each other then we both blew fire out of are mouths at once. This made Joker exclaim
" Excellent, very well done! " when we stopped he handed us some knives and let us try to throw them. Sebastian wasn't going to help us since he didn't want it to seem like we're being helped. I did it but missed the center a couple times. Pluto tried but two hit the bottom of the target and the third flew to the right of the target missing it completely.
Next, the master is constrained to carry out tightrope walking. Doll tightens the lifeline around him. He requests to do something else, but Joker challenges him, asking if he is quitting already, and urges him to proceed. After asserting to Doll that he will not quit, he tentatively walks on the tightrope. When he is about to trip, Sebastian furtively pitches stones at him to correct his balance. But he finally makes it across, despite the pain. Joker applauds him and affirms that he must present a big smile before he can join the Circus, much to his chagrin. In the meantime, Sebastian is stifling laughter along with both of us covering are mouths not making a sound. He then, forces himself to grin.

Me and Pluto knew even though the master and Sebastian are all dressed up both of us were still in are normal clothes. It was my turn to try to the tightrope though it was very intimidating. I tried and it wasn't too hard for me as I moved to the center of the rope but then I felt myself loose my footing because of the heeled boots. Then just as I felt myself going to slip and fall I felt someone pull my hand making me balance back on the rope. I realized it was Pluto who had quickly got on the tightrope and helped catch me. Then I smiled and nodded to say thanks he nods and then we both basically felt the rope become easy to maneuver. We began to waltz on the tightrope and we got to the end and Joker exclaimed
