Bex's POV

"Now I have to chase down Murphy with zombie's intestines on me. Thanks, 10K," I mutter, running alongside the others who are also covered in the same muck. He had decided that inside of simply taking out the Z, he'd shove a fire extinguisher inside its abdomen and fill it up until it exploded on everyone within a ten-foot radius.

I'm pulled down behind a car before I can register the gunshots. I realize it was 10K that did it, confusing me even further.

Cars of bounty hunters are surrounding us, despite the man from earlier completely taking out one. My hands shakily refill the chamber of my gun, nervous at how completely exposed we are and Murphy isn't even in sight.

"Look out!" Warren yells and it's me pushing 10K forward this time when the woman in the minivan points a shotgun out her window.

"Lookout kids!" Doc yells to us as we run around the building, the others still at the car, just on the other side. A bullet grazes my arm but luckily nothing serious. 10K's face is cut up from debris but he also looks okay.

"Get Murphy!" Warren screams at us. We nod, running off in the direction we saw him escape in. There's an explosion behind us and I hope the others are okay. It's a free for all out here.

"When I find Murphy, I'm going to literally eat him!"

"Kinky." 10K sends me a small grin and it almost feels like old times. We see him standing near a truck and my male partner doesn't slow his sprinting, knocking the blue man off his feet. Cassandra is busy attacking a woman and I hope it's the bitch from the minivan.

"Ow, ow, stupid jerk!" Murphy yells at 10K as he tries to get up. Cassandra tries coming over to fight us but I hiss at her, stopping her briefly.

"Bex. Bex!"

I turn around, noticing the man with the grenade launcher. "Shit!" We both run and jump out of the way, the weapon hitting a nearby building, pieces raining down over us.

"10K, get up." His eyes are open but he's still laying on the pavement, blinking at a retreating Cassandra and Murphy. "Killer, c'mon!" I shake him again. When he closes his eyes, I really start to panic. "Tommy! You've got to stay with me!" My palm smacks him on the cheek. Frustrated, I drag him out of the gunfire by his shoulders, trying to hold in my growing panic.

"What's wrong with him?" Doc startles me, taking 10K from me.

"Grenade launcher. I think he's dazed or maybe debris hit him. I'm not sure."

10K is becoming more alert, looking at us. "Where am I?"

"Don't worry, we've got you now," Doc says, patting me on the shoulder.

"What?!" 10K asks in a panic.

"We've got you now!" Doc repeats louder.

"I can't hear you!" He looks around frantically as if his eyes could compensate for his ears.
