CHAPTER 6
GOLD AND GREEN
Blaise hated how cold the Slytherin dorms where. Not just the ambiance but in general the rooms where freezing and it made it hard to sleep. It didn't help that the blankets were more for presentation than warmth.
So usually in the morning he would take the hottest shower possibly, leaving the others with cold water.
This time he wasn't the first one up. Crabbe and Goyle didn't shower in morning, Draco was showering and Theo was barely waking up. When Draco finally came out, Blaise took his place, grabbing a towel and his clothes.
He reached for his shampoo and soap. Then stared at the white bottle labeled: Zabini.
There's hair changing potions in your shampoo.
Knight had told him last night when he caught her. It meant that if he put that stuff in his hair Lyra Knight would have successfully pranked him
Knight had been pranking people since she first arrived at Hogwarts. It didn't matter who, no one was safe from her and the Weasley's pranks. Before now no one had ever gotten him. She had tried a few times, as revenge for some of the things his friends had said, but he had been smart about it.
No one would know if you don't do it. They'll just assume she missed your bottle. Or that you didn't shower this morning. And it's not like she'll tell people. You don't have to.
Damn it.
He hoped in the shower and wet his hair thoroughly before pouring shampoo in his hand, then rubbing his fingers into his hair. When he was done he walked out of the shower, fully dressed, his hair still damp.
When he walked out, Theo replaced his spot. Blaise sat on his bed and pulled his mirror closer. He looked at his wet hair and how it stuck to his forehead in small curls. His skin looked fine, his mother made sure to give him skin cream every few weeks. But Blaise focused on his eyes, there were small bags, barely visible but still there. He had been having trouble sleeping recently.
He made sure to remind himself to send his mother a letter about that and began drying his hair.
"Arrggg," he looked up at Draco's shout. And saw that his usual white hair was a bright, Gryffindor red.
"Malfoy? What happened?" Crabbe had asked, staring wide eyed him.
"What do you think happened? My hair is red!"
"Someone must have put something in your shampoo," Blaise said, his eyes back on his reflection, and continued to dry his hair.
Why isn't mine like that? She didn't say anything about dye in Malfoy's shampoo. Did she accidentally switch ours.
As the through finished and his hair was done drying, it flashed and suddenly was gold. He gapped at the color, "Shit." It was all gold where there used to be black.
"Guess it wasn't just Malfoy's shampoo." Goyle guffawed.
Draco turned and started at Blaise's hair. "What the..."
The bathroom door burst open and Theo walked in with hair, darker red with gold ends. It didn't look too bad, definitely better then Draco's.
"What is this?!"
"We're guessing someone snuck in and put something in our shampoos."
"It was definitely a Gryffindor. Why else would it be red and gold."
