My whole body was aching it almost felt like it was burning I opened my eyes only to quickly close them again seeing a bright light immediately after. I opened them again my eyes adjusted to the light and I soon saw my surroundings I was in a hospital
Soon all my memories from getting beat down from my mom came back to me so fast that my head started hurting not to mention that it was hard to breathe or move because every move and breath I took made my sides hurt like hell a nurse came in to my room and smiled at me before giving me a glass of water that I so needed since my throat was Sahara desert dry
I muster up a small thank you and she nods telling me her name and saying how the doctor should come in any minute now, as we waited she asked how I was feeling along with some other small questions. Soon enough the doctor came in
"Good afternoon miss Lee how are you feeling?"
"I guess good although I am in pain a little from my sides"
"It's as to be expected for one of you're ribs was punctured and you're whole body was filled with bruises thankfully there was no internal bleeding and we were able to cure you're rib, as for your bruises they should be gone in some days"
I nodded and he kept telling me about how I should be careful when moving around he gave me soon pain killers and told me that I would have to stay in the hospital for another two days before being released.
After a few minutes JaeJin entered the room he was sobbing and when he saw me he cried even more going up to me and holding my hand since he couldn't get on the hospital bed
"Noona are you okay I didn't know what happened my friends mom was with me the whole time and she brought me here I was so scared noona I thought I wouldn't be able to see you!"
"I'm sorry JaeJin but you don't have to worry I'm here now and I'll soon be better so we can go back home okay"
He nodded and with the help of his friends mother he was able to lay down with me on the hospital bed there was enough space for his tiny body to lay down and like that we both fell asleep forgetting about all our problems.
Two days passed in the most agonizing slowest pace EVER I was stuck in a hospital bed 24 hours for two days with the same routine wake up watch tv procrastinate on why I'm living eat lunch with JaeJin say bye to JaeJin take a phat nap eat some more watch anime's and sleep
Finally the day for me to leave the hospital came and I had to use crutches since I still couldn't walk properly due to the fact that my rib got fucking d e s t r o y e d but I managed
"Excuse me are you Lee Y/n?"
"Ah yes can I help you ma'am?" I turned to see a short middle aged woman she wore a white button down shirt with a basic black pencil skirt
"I have to have a serious talk with you it's about you're parents but as I can see you are not in the best position so please call me when you are ready this is my phone number have a speedy recovery dear"
I smile and give her a nod my parents? What happened to those imbeciles come to think of it they didn't even visit me I obviously didn't expect my stepdad but my own blood to not visit me that's next level sad.
"Earth to noona!! Are you okay? Do we need to go back to the hospital?"
"Ah no sorry JaeJin I spaced out"
"Who was that woman noona?"
"Ahh no one of much importance now let's go home we have lots to do"
JaeJin and I arrive to our house it seemed so distant it looked like a lovely home to grow up in but it hid so much pain and misery inside enough to make me sick to my stomach.
When we got inside there was a mess beer bottles everywhere furniture on the floor broken vases and you could still see some dried up blood
"JaeJin-ah how about you start cleaning your room and my room yeah?"
"Okay noona I'll leave our rooms really clean!"
He runs upstairs to go cleanup while I try to go to the kitchen to get a mop to clean up the dried up blood it kept making me uneasy for many reasons
Even with my state of being in crutches I was able to clean up the kitchen. By the time JaeJin came to help downstairs I was done with the kitchen, he cleaned up the living room and I did the bathrooms and soon with his help the house was clean.
"Boom we did it JaeJin we cleaned the whole house together"
"We are hard workers noona and you know what hardworking people get?" I looked at him and he continued talking
"Food especially food like McDonald's!" A bright smile showed on his face
I laughed at JaeJin and soon we heard a soft knock on the door I went and opened it and I saw Jisung with another dude that looks his age
"Y/n are you okay?! I'm sorry I couldn't visit you at the hospital I promise I was but taey-I mean my parents wouldn't let me"
"Yah Jisung ah I was so bored you should have came but I understand anyway what are you doing here?"
"Ah sorry noona here a sorry gift" Jisung moves his hand from behind him to reveal flowers and McDonald's in his hands
"McDonald's!! Noona Jisung-ah brought us food yay!"
Jisung handed the food to JaeJin giving him a cute smile ,they have met a few times since me and Jisung would usually hang out when I could and sometimes JaeJin would join us I looked over to the guy next to Jisung and smiled to him
"Hey I don't think I know you I'm Lee Y/n"
"Ah I'm Zhong Chenle nice to meet you"
"Oh right Chenle this is Y/n noona, Noona this is Chenle he's my friend and he's my age too"
I smiled and let them in to the house where we all sat in the couch while JaeJin sat in the floor eating his food since he didn't want to be alone in the kitchen
"Hyung who is that?"
"JaeJin this is my friend Chenle he's my age!"
"Hi JaeJin I'm Chenle"
"Hello hyung do you like video games like Jisung hyung!?"
Chenle nods and we all soon start talking letting time pass by we all had fun and both me and JaeJin got along well with Chenle
"It's getting late noona, Chenle and I have to go but we will visit as soon as we can"
"Alright be careful guys and Chenle we are going to have a rematch next time you come that game was unfair!"
"Okay noona but get ready for you to lose again bye noona bye JaeJin!"
We both wave at them and then go inside the house and get ready for bed not realizing the soon to come problems coming our way or to be specific...my way.
