The drive to Texas from Michigan was a long one, and since we drove nearly straight through it, we would have an off day there to roam around. I was excited to see the guys play a show since I never had before, I wanted to see what they were like live. I had only ever heard the recorded version of their music since they made me listen to their newest album There is a Hell on the ride so I would know what they sounded like. Although it wasn't exactly what I was into, they were talented and I could respect them a lot for what they're doing because it's not easy. I know that they're going to get way bigger than they already are and I couldn't wait to watch them grow.

We were only an hour or two away from the venue when we decided to stop for a little while since we just spent about 9 hours in the van. I stopped the van outside a gas station where Lee took the liberty of pumping gas as the rest of us went in the small convenience store. I walked in and my phone started ringing and I saw Josh was calling me.

"Kitty can you just get me soda or something? I have to answer this call." I said as I slid the screen to answer the call. I saw Kitty nod at me and I walked out into the parking lot to answer the call.

"Hello?"

"Hey Anne. How are you?" Josh's accented voice asked.

"Can't complain, and you?" I answered.

"Well I would be much better if you would let me take you on a date on the off day today if you guys get to the hotel a day early like we will. What do you say?" He asked hopefully.

I hesitated. I didn't want to get involved with people that I was working with, but technically I wasn't working on his show. He was a supporting band for the band I was managing, so who did it hurt? "That sounds great, yeah. I've got to go since we're gonna be at the venue in about two hours and were getting back on the road soon but I'll call you later." We said our goodbyes and hung up and I got back into the van with the boys. Oliver was driving for the next few hours and I sat next to him in the passengers seat.

Kitty passed the Pepsi to me from the seat behind Oliver and asked, "Who was on the phone?"

"Um, Josh Francesci"

"From You Me at Six?" Matt asked

"Yeah." I said, drinking my Pepsi, "He asked me to go out with him on our day off."

"Really?" Kitty asked excitedly. I laughed and nodded. I thought that was the end of the conversation but Oliver spoke up next.

"He asked you out over the phone? That's such a pussy move." he scoffed.

I smirked at him, "Well I don't see you making any moves, so stay quiet."

"I'm not allowed to make a move on you" He sassed. "If I were to try and make a move on you Phil would have my head."

Did that mean he wanted to? "Well, Josh can and he's taking me on a date."

Oliver and I didn't speak for the rest of the ride but Kitty and I did. We gossiped about Josh and I asked him what I should wear on my date. Kitty was actually a really good consultant and even Lee jumped in with suggestions about what to wear telling me he thought it looked really good with my hair curled.

Oliver was a bit bitter for the rest of the ride and was not very thrilled finding out that we would be sharing a room with Jordan tonight.

I took my bags and got ready for my date, wearing jeans and a black v neck shirt with my hair curled. I did my make up simply and pulled on a red and blue flannel. I sat on the bed I would inevitably be sharing with Oliver tonight and pulled on my Doc Marten boots. I then met up with Kitty in the lobby who would take me to the venue to meet up with Josh for our date.
