Chapter 30 - My life

Angie's POV:

- German, you're an idiot! - I groaned as I tried to get myself together.

- Maybe... But you gave in to me so you're an idiot too - German replied cheekily as he was trying to tie his tie, but failing miseraby as always.

- You better stop being so damn tempting! - I snapped at him again as I helped him out with his tie - You're useless with your tie as well!

- But you're a good help - he winked as he grabbed my butt again, pulling me into him.

- Stop doing this! - I hissed, but I was blushing like crazy - We just got dressed again!

- It's your fault showing your sexy legs like this!

- Just... Just stop already! - I mumbled then I opened the office door and peeked out if anyone's there, but luckily no one was near - Now go back! I will join later on!

- Why me?

- Because you got me into this situation!

- And you loved it! - German winked at me then sneaked out of the room.

Holy crap! Why am I so stupid?! I can't just do this when I'm with Edmond.... I just can't just betray him like that... Like those did!

I'm not gonna give in to him next time so I'm better not stay alone with him anywhere.

After a while of thinking I decided to go back to the party and luckily no one really noticed that I disappeared so I just acted like nothinng happened until the night ended and everyone left the house.

German and the others were about to leave and while Edmond was talking to Priscilla German was staring at me the whole time with a cheeky smile on his face. I tried not to react to that, but it was kinda hard since he was all on trying to make me blush, but luckily Edmond was hugging me with one arm so I kinda had reason to be blushing.

And when they finally left I collapsed down on the sofa and Edmond came to sit beside me and smiled.

- What's the matter? The night was too long? - he asked.

- Yeah... Something like that... - I replied shortly as I leaned my head back and sighed deeply.

I felt Edmond's eyes on me and I looked at him. He smiled then placed a hand on my cheek and kissed me on the lips softly.

- Oh? What was that for? - I looked at him, blushing slightly.

- For being so supportive and loving... - he replied, smiling - For being my only friend who trusted me from the very first time we met... Till now... And even though you knew what I'm planning you still came with me and stayed with me...

- Because I can see how good person you are... - I replied as I held his hand - You saved me... And I can't be more greatful to you... Because if you wouldn't be there I probably couldn't met my beloved niece anymore... And I wouldn't see her smile anymore...

- Angie, your happiness is my life... - he smiled and kissed my hands softly and lovingly.

- And you are my life....
