German's POV:
I know who he is now! But they said there that he actually died in the prison... But what does he doing here now?! He's probably looking for revenge...
Now I can kinda understand why did he said what he said when Morcerf wanted to take Angie away from him. Because he once actually took his beloved away from him.
But I don't understand so many things. Why does he need Angie? Does he actually loves her, or he's just using her to make his ex- fianceé jealous? I don't know though, but now seems like a fight will start on tomorrow between the young Morcerf and Edmond...
I wonder if Angie's alright though...
Angie's POV:
As soon as we arrived back home from the opera Edmond is in his office with Bertuccio and with a bunch of guns and other stuff which makes me really worried. I don't want him to get into any fight like this...
- Edmond... - I whispered quietly. He seemed so stressed out the whole night.
- Yes? - he asked, coldly.
- Please... Don't go...
- I have to. But I'll come back alive and not him.
I sighed deeply when I suddenly heard a voice saying:
- Edmond, please don't do it!
We both froze when we recognized Mercedes' crying voice.
Edmond looked coldly towards her as she was shivering and trying to fight her tears back.
- Edmond, please... I beg you... - she cried more.
Edmond now looked at me with similar cold eyes, telling me to leave the room and I almost cried too. His cold look made me feel like he just now threw me away which hurted really bad, but what could I do? I just went out, leaving them alone and I went straight to the park since I know it doesn't matter what I say... He will do what he wants anyway.

I was walking in the park and the sun was coming up already. I've been up the whole night, but I didn't feel tired at all.
As I was deep in thoughts I suddenly bumped into German...
- Ah, hi! - he smiled, but I couldn't do the same - Angie... Are you okay?
- No... - I shaked my head - I left Edmond and Mercedes alone in the house and soon Edmond is going to a fight where him, or Albert is gonna die...
I haven't looking up at all, but I could feel German's worried eyes on me then he pulled me into his arms and hugged me protectively and at this moment I couldn't hold my tears back. I cried and cried and German didn't let go of me for even a second which I felt really happy about.
A few more minutes later German let go of me and smiled sympathetically at me.
- He will come back to you... I'm sure of that...
I looked up at German and for some reason I felt like something's not right.
- Why do you say thing like that to me?
- Huh?
- You said you want me... You kissed me again just yesterday and now you're saying this like all we are just friends and nothing more...
- Why? Are we more than friends? - he asked as he stepped closer to me and now we were inches away from each other.
He was staring into my eyes and I stared into his for long seconds when he leaned in and in, but a moment later he stepped back.
- I'm sorry... - he said.
- No. I'm sorry - I sighed - I'm better get going... - I said then I just walked away.
----- TIME SKIP -----
I went back home and luckily Mercedes has already left the house so I went to look for Edmond. He was still in the office, but this time he was writing. He had his back to me so he didn't notice that I came back home.
I went behind him to see what he's writing and my heart stopped beating.
- Are you writing a testament?! - I gasped as I froze in place.
- Yes - he said firmly.
- B-But why? Do you really think you can't win against that little...
- Don't even say it! - he cut me off then took a deep breath before he continued - I can't kill him... - he trembled - You and Haydeé get my money if I die and....
- Because SHE asked you for that?! - I snapped annoyedly while crying.
- Because... She told me something that I didn't know...
- What could she tell you that made you change your mind totally?!
Edmond sighed deeply before he replied.
- That Albert is my....
