Angie's POV:
After a while of crying in Edmond's arms he suddenly pulled away and looked at me in the eyes...
- You're still in love with him, don't you? - he said as he smiled sympathetically at me.
- W-What?! - I stuttered.
- Don't even try to deny it... - he smiled - I know it was German who called you just now...
- It was Priscilla from German's phone...
- And she probably told you about them getting married soon and that's what made you cry...
- Edmond, I love you...
- And I love you too... But I know you love German much more than me...
- ... Just as you love Mercedes, don't you?
- Kind of... But my situation is not the same as yours.
- Maybe...
- Angie, listen... You have the chance to go back and...
- But he's getting married next week! - I cried - I don't want to be there... To see that... I just want to be away from him...
- As you wish... Now take some rest, okay? I have some business to do in town...
- Okay...
Edmond's POV:
I said goodbye to Angie and left the hotel. When I was far away enough I called Baptistin....
- What do you wish, Sir? - he asked.
- It's time - I replied - Get ready and show him the record tomorrow morning. Understood?
- Yes, Sir!
I can't watch Angie crying over this anymore. I know she loves German more than me and I understand her so I'll do my best to make her happy again... Because seeing her happy makes me happier too...
Now all we have to do is wait and see if German coms after us, or not...
German's POV:
Second day that I haven't slept for a minute. I feel so empty without Angie... I need her back in my life. But I'm afraid I lost her forever...
In the morning I was sitting in the living room, thinking when Priscilla came to sit beside me and a moment later someone knocked on the door and Olga went to open it.
- Good morning, Mylady - said the male voice at the door - Mr. Castillo is at home?
- I'm here - I said as I stood up and just now I recognized Edmond's servant at the door. I have no idea what his name is.
- I have sonething to share with you - he said as he got a DVD in his hand - Can you play this on a computer?
- What is this? - I asked him.
- Yes, or no? - he asked coldly.
- Yes, yes... Come to my office...
I lead him to my office and he played the DVD on my laptop and I couldn't believe my own eyes.
It was a video about Priscilla and that guy... Debray... They were... Kissing?!
I looked up from my laptop straight into Priscilla's eyes who looked confused at me first, but when I turned the screen to her she went pale.
- How can you explain this? - I asked her.
- I-It was only one time... - she stuttered.
- This is a lie - said the servant - I can prove you that this is...
- No need for any more proof - I interrupted - Priscilla... You have 3 hours to leave my house... - I said to her coldly - And the engagement is off.
- What?! You can't do that to me! - Priscilla cried.
- The count wants you to decided right after you saw this record - said the servant meanwhile - If you off the engagement you need to answer me one question honestly.
- What question?
- German Castillo... Are you still in love with Angeles Carrara?
For a second I froze there, but then I looked over at Ramallo, Olga and Vilu who were all standing in the background and I just sighed and said:
- Yes, I am.
- No!! - Priscilla screamed then just ran off, but I couldn't care less.
Meanwhile a cheeky smile appeared on the servant's face and gave me a piece of paper.
- There is an address on this paper. The address where Angeles and the count lives in Paris right now. But the count planned something more. Should I inform him that you're going to visit them?
- Yes - I nodded, not knowing what else to do, but one thing I knew for sure: That I wanted to see Angie and tell her how stupid and blind I was and that I want her back. I need her now...
