Chapter 49 - Decision

Angie's POV:

I can't describe how happy I am right now that I see Edmond alive. I couldn't even let go of him for minutes and I didn't notice that German left meanwhile, but I didn'tcare either.

I almost made a mistake by kissing him, but then he backed off and I don't know why... But I feel sad that he didn't do it and glad to at the same time. This is confusing...

- Angie... We need to talk... - said Edmond when we arrived back home.

- W-What is it?

- Do you remember what I said to you about wanting to find my father's grave, or if he doesn't have any grave making one?

- Yeah, I do.

- Now I was thinking about going to Marseille to look around. Would you like to come with me, or you better stay here from now on?

- I don't want to leave you alone again! - I snapped - You almost... Wait... What the hell even happened with Morcerf??

- He apologized for what he said and he didn't want to fight after all.

- Oh, thank god! - I sighed and he smiles

- Anyway... Think about my question properly before you decide. I planned to go on Friday and it's only Monday today... - he said as he came closer and kissed my cheek softly - I love you and I don't want you to make a decision that you'd regret...

- Okay... - I smiled and hugged him.

- Now... You need to take some rest... Me too actually...

- Then you're gonna lay down with me! - I snapped and he burst out laughing.

- Okay, mylady! - he grinned then he picked me up and took me to his room as we both layed down. He wrapped his arms around me and soon we both fell asleep.

German's POV:

Edmond is back and Angie was happy again, but I couldn't be happy for that.

I wanted to kiss her badly, but I realized that I can't. Even if she thinks she loves me I know she doesn't. Or does she?

Anyway... I was back home again in the early evening and everything was normal until Priscilla appeared...

- Why do you keep doing this?! - she snapped.

- What are you talking about?

- I'm talking about Angie of course!

- Stop this, Priscilla! - I groaned - I told you that I love you and not An...

- Stop lying to me and choose for god sake! If you want Angie then go after her!

Just then Angie and Vilu came...

- What are you two shouting about? - Vilu asked, looking at me and Priscilla.

- I won't be the second choice for anyone because of HER! - said Priscilla annoyed as she looked at the confused Angie.

- Priscilla, stop shouting at Angie! - I hissed.

- Shut up both of you! - shouted Angie and we both grew quiet.

Angie now looked at Priscilla first...

- You better stop being a bitch all the time!

- You make me a bitch, didn't you realize?!

- I kinda did. But you can calm down because I won't be in your way any longer.

- What do you mean?? - now it was my turn to be confused.

- Because I'm leaving Buenos Aires again....
