Chapter 34 - Morcerf the Casanova?!: Part 1

Luckily the night soon finished and everyone headed home. We took German and Priscilla home then we went home too.

When we were home I went straight to my room and collapsed down on my bed. A few minutes later Edmond came in too.

- What was that show German was doing there? - he asked - He seemed like he wants to make you jealous... Can it be true?

- This is ridiculous... - I said.

- You're lying.

I shot up by how firmly and coldly Edmond said that.

- I'm... I'm not lying!

- Yes, you do... - he said again, but now he smiled too - It was too obvious... But let me ask you something... And answer me honestly...

I froze for a few seconds.

- Uhm... Actually...

- You two had a little affair now so long ago...

- What?!

- Don't try to lie again... I heard you both at the party... - Edmond said with a sigh, but for some reason he didn't seem mad at all.

- Yeah... I-I admit... But he jumped at me!

Now Edmond was trying really hard to keep straight face, but failed and started laughing.

- What... are you laughing at...? - I muttered.

- That how embarrassed you are right now - he replied, still smiling.

- But... Aren't you mad?

- No... But I want the truth...

- What... truth?

- Who do you truly love right now? Me, or German? - he asked and the way he did broke my heart. He sounded so... I don't know. It felt like he doesn't even feel anything right now.

- I only love you, of course!

He looked at me for a few seconds in silent then smiled.

- I believe you... But this can't happen again... okay?

- Okay... Okay! - I nodded then he pulled me closer to him and kissed me softly and meaningfully on the lips.

- I love you... - he whispered.

- I love you too - I whispered back.

The next day I went to the Studio and German was already there, arguing with Jade. Atleast it seemed like they're arguing... But I don't know...

- What's happening here? - I asked and they both suddenly stopped - Why are you two arguing again??

- Because German doesn't want to come back to me!! - Jade cried.

- But you already have a boyfriend, don't you?

- Huh?! How did you know?! - she gasped and German looked at me, confused.

- Him and the count are business partners and I heard him talking about you a few time - I replied - And he seemed to really love you... So I think you shouldn't be chasing German, but be happy with Nicholas... - I added with a smile - But this is only my opinion...

Now both Jade and German looked at me, shocked and a few seconds later Jade hugged me tightly.

- You're right, Annie as always! - she said then she gave me an invitation - You can come to the wedding too! But now excuse me Annie and German, but I have to go!

And with that she stormed off happily.

- I didn't even... Get a chance to tell her.. - I mumbled then looked at German who was in shock and I just gave up and sighed.

- I don't even know what to say anymore... - said German after a while of silent.

- But I know... Since I have to go as well... - I said then quickly kissed his cheek before going to my class.

When my class finished I decided to stay in the room and playing a bit on the piano as I was thinking about what happened before the class, what happened with German and Edmond.

I need to get these thoughts out of my mind, but I just couldn't. The thought of German marrying to Priscilla just scares me. Scares me because I'm afraid he'll be ignoring me conpletely...

Wait... Did I say that?! Yes, I did... I'm jealous, but I shouldn't be because I'm with Edmond and I love him so much as well!

Suddenly as I was deep in thoughts I felt someone behind me and a hand on top of mine as I was still playing.

I was perfectly sure that it's Edmond who's behind me and who started singing with me...

As we finished the person spoke up and then I realized it's either Edmond, or German...

- This was beautiful...

This made me jump and when I turned around I saw Fernand de Morcerf behind me...

- Dear god... You scared me, Sir! - I groaned - What are you doing here?

- My bad - he said with a weirdly huge grin on his face - I just wanted to see you...

- Oh? And why so? Do you need anything to do with the count?

- No... - he whispered and he wrapped his arms around me - I wanted to see your beautiful face... And for the first time... I want to feel you...

Then he kissed my neck which made me tremble and I quickly got out of his grip, but he came after me and closed the classroom's door.

- Don't escape from me... - he said with a smile then he pushed me against the wall and hold both of my hands down - Don't try to tell me that you don't like me... I saw how you were looking at me the last time on my party...

I looked at you in disgust, you dickhead...

- Ah... I'm not saying that... That you're not a handsome guy, or anything, but ah... I'm together with...

- I know you're with the count - he said as he looked into my eyes then he continued - But I'm sure I can give you more than he can...
