"YOU ACT LIKE AN ANGEL BUT YOU'RE A DEVIL IN DISGUISE!"
—
mackenzie got up, and grabbed her robe, placing it around her body. "morning." she smiled at hayden, who was just waking up. "hurry up, my mom and greg will be home with the twins soon."
after about five minutes, greg and melissa came home, just as mackenzie and hayden finished changing out of their pajamas. "looks like someone decided to shove a date night into a study night." maddie commented, as kenzie and hayden walked down.
"shut up." mackenzie snickered, then went to the living room, where she saw her babies. "there are my loves!" she squealed, picking up jordan first. "mommy missed you so much."
"yeah and mommy was upstairs making you a sibling." maddie joked, then drank her sparkling water.
mackenzie glared at her, then went back to her twins. "ooh babe there's a new restaurant open tonight. wanna go?" hayden suggested.
"sure." mackenzie said, then her and hayden played with the twins, and then put them down for a nap.
around 7, hayden left to go get ready at his house, so mackenzie got ready herself. they were bringing the twins too because her parents were busy and maddie has to finish up making a dress.
"ok, this place seems too nice for a couple of teenagers with babies." mackenzie joked as they pulled up in front of the restaurant.
"it's like an olive garden babe." hayden laughed, making mackenzie pet out a chuckle.
"yeah, but it's not. it's just more different than our usual in n out and movie—we never get to finish." mackenzie chuckled.
"well, let's get to our reservation." hayden got out, and opened the trunk. he took out the double stroller as mackenzie took out the twins.
they put the twins into the stroller and their things, then entered the restaurant. it was packed, almost all the way. most of the tables were taken, and families were eating happily. "hi, reservation for summerall." mackenzie spoke time the hostess.
"right this way." they went to the booth, passing by families.
they sat down, the hostess leaving them two menus. "are you fucking kidding me." mackenzie sighed as she shook her head, facing it towards the table.
"what?" hayden asked, putting down his menu.
mackenzie pointed to her left. hayden turned, seeing a family. two parents, some boys, and two teens with a baby. "why the fuck does this keep happening." (a/n bc of me!)
"hey, it's ok. this is the only time we get ok baby." mackenzie nodded, and looked over at ivana, and smiled at her daughter.
ivana started crying, so hayden got up and picked up her and rocked her, to calm her.
emily looked over her shoulder, seeing them and the babies. johnny looked over, his smile faded as he saw them. something inside told him those babies were his and were being raised by another man. but it was a small thing he didn't listen to. "hey," emily turned his head back to her, "let's eat."
—
"i'll go put the twins asleep, you go make the popcorn." mackenzie said to hayden, then went upstairs with the twins.
hayden went to the cupboard, and grabbed the box of popcorn. he popped it in the microwave as melissa and greg came home. "hey hayden." greg greeted.
"hey." hayden replied.
"another movie night?" melissa asked, greg taking off her coat. "it's the fifth one this week."
"yet we never finish any movie." hayden chuckled, then took out the popped popcorn.
—
"finally." mackenzie whispered, as hayden kissed her neck. he brushed his hand at ten hem of her shirt, but she blocked him. "wait-"
"what happened? did i do something?-"
"no, it's just-" mackenzie walked for her bed and sat down, "it's just, it's not the same anymore. since i had the twins."
hayden lifted her shirt, seeing her scars, he traced his finger over them, "and, this just is a memory of the way you brought those two beautiful babies into this world. they're beautiful baby."
"you're only saying that."
"i don't care what you look like. i love you because of you. i don't care if you have scars, you're beautiful no matter what." mackenzie smiled, and kissed him, falling back on the bed.
