Amy found him in the Colonel's shop, behind the radio room. She heard the radioman talking to various Calvarymen on patrol, he spoke mostly English, and some French. Amy stopped & listened to Angels pilot in Calgary talking to Captain Hammond, who was out on patrol with his men.

Amy opened the shop door & smiled. I've been looking everywhere for you Ty.

I'm here. I sharpen my bayonet once a month.

Why tonight?? We're getting married tomorrow.

I don't know Amy, somehow sharpening this bayonet relaxes me.

Are you nervous Ty??

I don't know.... maybe a little.

About what??

She pulled a folding chair up & sat across from him. She studied Ty's face, and knew something was bothering him.

Ty........ what's wrong!??

You'll think it's silly Amy.

Ty, you never do anything silly!! When I first met you, I had to work to make you laugh.

You wouldn't understand Amy....

Ty, I know you better than anyone; I'll understand. I'm going to be your wife!

Amy, I worry, ......I hope I'll be a good husband for you. You're Grandpa gave me permission to ask you to marry me. But we've never met, .....what if he doesn't like me??
I mean, he knows everything about building a house, running a farm; I don't know any of that stuff!!

Ok!! Now you're being silly Ty!! Grandpa loves you!!
I can hear it in his voice. I talked to them last night.

They're good!! Grandma had a blueberry pie in the oven.

Ty!!!! I can't wait to marry you!! My Grandpa told me I was marrying a very impressive man.
And you're a doctor, and a veterinarian, a Marine, and a Scout!!
Grandpa is very impressed with you!!

Yes he is Ty!! And My Grandma loves you like a son. Please stop fretting!! Are you almost done??

Maybe 10 minutes. I can come find you when I'm done.

Ty set his file down & kissed Amy. She sat on his lap, & he taught her how to file a blade. Sharp enough to cut bone.

They landed with a thud; Morton was shaking. He had no idea what was going on, but he didn't like it.

Morton, everything is fine, were in Wyoming
& we're going to a wedding!! You'll see Ty & Phantom, & we'll meet Amy!! She's nice, you'll like her.

Suddenly the dog started barking........a shrill squeal alarm started going off every 2 seconds....

Morton!! It's the locator device, so they'll find us!! Calm yourself!! Cindy turned on her flashlight & gave Morton his favorite treat.
He ignored it.

Then voices & footsteps really annoyed the little 16 year old guard dog; he growled.
Cindy held his mouth shut & ordered him to be quiet. The little dog took his guard duties seriously!!
