"So from an ice rink to a Kareoke bar...why am not surprised," I sipped a drink that was given to me and frowned. "With alcohol..."

"If you don't tell, I won't," Evan winked. Music lit up the area and I watched as a couple was busy singing enthusiastically. However, that was pretty much it.

I shook my head and smiled. "So, is this your normal night life? Considering it's not even the weekend...how did you convince my parents to allow me to be out so late?"

Evan smiled as he took a sip from his drink. He turned his head towards me. "Seems like even adults are not immune to my oozing charm."

"You mean the illusion you put up so well to those who actually have control of your life?"

"No one controls me," Evan responded. "I like being in charge."

"I'm sure..." I said and took another breadstick they put on our table. I looked up at the couple who finished with a kiss. "They may not be so talented, but they look sweet together."

"Please," Evan scoffed and I threw half of my breadstick at him.

"So what exactly is this? Because although it feels like a date, I still feel like it's missing something...."

"A make out session?"

I shook my head. "I'll pass..."

"Come on, you're here for a reason...you didn't simply climb into my car because I told you to...you are curious, and there is a certain element of attraction involved..." Evan winked at me and I took a deep breath.

"Truth or dare..."

I raised my brow, "Seriously?"

"What...are you scared?" Evan tapped the table amused, and leaned back. However, he did not stop staring at me.

"Truth..." I said. "I've had enough daring attempts on the ice today."

"Why did you and your parents move here?"

I rolled my eyes. "Easy, my dad got a new job offer, and so without thinking twice about his family, he moved us all here."

"And your mom is still with him? Strange," Evan shook his head, and I frowned.

"Sometimes marriage takes work, and yes, although my father is full of his flaws, my mother chooses to love him, because of it...but..."

"But?" Evan raised his brow and smirked.

"But I think a relationship should not be one-sided...I believe both parties have to work on their flaws in order to make things work..."

"Deep,"

"And you? What do you value about love?" I asked and Evan shook his head as he rubbed his eyes.

"You're asking deep-sated love questions in a karaoke bar...I don't think this is neither the time or the place,"

I rolled my eyes, and sat back, disappointed.

"But...one thing, is that I believe a good relationship or marriage or whatever you are trying to ask me, is that a person should stand up for each other," Evan tapped the table again. "Your turn."

"Evan, truth or dare?" I asked and smiled. Evan returned it with his smirk and my blush grew again.

"Dare..."

"I dare you to sing a Taylor swift song on that Karaoke stand...." I said and leaned on the table.

"You're joking right?" Evan grinned and I shook my  head while biting my lip.
