"Coffee for our special lady," Tyler placed the cup down and looked at me. "Anything else?"

"Maybe a doughnut...I'll pay for it," I said and smiled.

"Nonsense, on the house," Tyler walked off and I shook my head. Apparently, Evan decided not to sue with the reasons being: "he did not die, and get double the pay whenever he was singing." It certainly cost less than an entire lawsuit. And I was also now very popular, being this reason I pulled the plug. And the effects of pulling the plug being in reverse. I grinned at that thought as I scribbled some notes. I was here to catch up on some homework, hang out with Ellie and watch Evan sing. But then, I had some later evening plans, and I was looking forward to it.

"You like this spot, don't you?"

I looked up to see Ellie take a seat.

"Hey, history was made here," I remarked and scribbled another summary. "You finish that project yet?"

"From what? English? Economics? Chemistry?" Ellie rolled her eyes. "The assignments are stockpiling by the day."

"We should get together to brainstorm it sometime...maybe get things done faster..." I suggested. "Would have to be late afternoon or night though..."

"So you got the job?" Ellie squealed.

"Yes I did!"

"Congrats!" Ellie  jumped over the chairs and gave me a hug. I've barely known her for a few days, but we were literally acting like besties.

"Speaking of which, where is your brother?" I asked.

Ellie rolled her eyes. "Evan's at the back setting up. He'll be in soon...why?"

"Just don't want to be caught unawares," I shrugged.

"You know Tyler has been staring at you non-stop for the last two minutes..."

I looked at Ellie then at Tyler, who quickly glanced away and carried on with his work. I shook my head. "He can keep dreaming. I don't like him."

"Are you sure? He's cute..."

"So?"

The stage lights went on, and immediately I looked up to see Evan with his team arriving on the stage. I didn't even notice the arrival of so many others who crowded around to see him sing. He was most definitely popular.

"Good evening, ladies and gentleman," he started and waited for the applause to end. "I am so glad I can perform tonight, and I hope you enjoy."

He started singing the song "Death of a Bachelor" by Panic of the Disco, and I could not stop looking at him. His voice rang through the room, not shaking, but so smooth. He was so darn good, it put me in a trance. He picked the microphone out of the stand and as he started  more upbeat song: Austin Mahone - Say You're Just A Friend he started dancing. The girls were cheering and whooping, and I couldn't help but clap with. I looked at Ellie who only shook her head. However, she was also smiling. Even she couldn't help but be impressed.

I gasped as he literally jumped of the stage. He moonwalked to a table as he sang, grabbed a girl's hand and twirled her, before returning her to her seat. The audience started clapping as he moonwalked, jumped on a chair and on another table. He knelt and sang passionately before getting up and doing some fancy footwork on the table.

I swallowed as he started dancing closer to our table. He started dancing right next to us, his eyes on me. He flashed his charming smile as he grabbed my hand. I stood up and allowed him to twirl me. My heart rushed fast and my stomach wanted to burst. Man, he is good.

I thought he would let go, but instead, he twirled me again and pulled me so close that I crashed into his chest. He kept singing, unfazed and held me tight to steady me. He started dancing and I rolled my eyes and started to go with it. I rolled my shoulders and followed in his beat. He raised both his brows and  gripped my hand tighter as he twirled me again, let me go and we started dancing side by side. I was breathless and after a good few moves I returned to my seat and he carried on to the other tables. I watched as all the other girls started to show off their dance moves.

"What was that?" Ellie gaped, shocked. "Girl, you've got moves."

I bit my lip. "Maybe..."

"Maybe? You were in perfect sync...it looked staged..." Ellie laughed. I blushed and turned to look at Evan who had returned to the stage to sing another song.

A shiver rumbled through me as he sang and looked at me again. It was intoxicating.

Which was exactly why I left the moment he finished his last song.
