10. Save Bella

[Third Person POV]

Olivia finally came back to her job at the warehouse, her boss praised her for being well since she was the strongest and one of the hardworking, while going on with her tasks Olivia finds her mind drifting off to her conversation with Carlisle on their hike. Even after her shift, Olivia walks away to go back to her flat but she can't erase her mind on him.

Was it possible that he could be hers? For starters, Olivia feels automatically happy when she's with Carlisle, everything with him feels like she can talk about anything. When apart, her heart would ache in longing to be around him. No time in her life where her heart pulse was beating much stronger as she have being with him. Plus she was unable to read his mind, frustrating her to the core. But also worries and remembered about that secret admirer notes she always received every morning with a rose.

Everything in her mind swifts away as she heard vile and disgusting thoughts not too far from her, and the familiar scent lingering in the air.

'Bella'

Oliva starts to follow the scent and sees her human friend being surrounded by a bunch of low life men. Anger spikes in, a protective mode was switched on inside.

"Hey!" she yelled at them, earning laughs from the men, who lets her join in their circle

One of them commented "Looks like we've got another one"

Olivia quickly punched the one who said that making him recoil back clutching onto his nose painfully. Bella grabs the courage to kick one on the balls.

Suddenly Edward's Volvo came twisting from the road and drives towards them almost hitting the other guys. Edward gets off from his car

"Get in the car!" he exclaimed making Bella obliged to his order. Edward and Olivia stayed outside glaring at the others who cowered away in fear.

Edward goes back to the driver's seat with Olivia in the backseat, he drives away like a person in a sudden rush.
While driving, Bella looks back and forth at Olivia and Edward confused.

"I should go back and rip those guys' heads off" Edward glowered, gripping on the steering wheel hard

"Torture them is more fun" Olivia suddenly added. Bella looks at them both slightly scared of what they'll do

Shaking her head "No, you two shouldn't"

Edward said "You just don't know Bella"

"All the vile, repulsive things they were thinking" Olivia pointed out for him

Bella confused "You do?"

"It's not hard to guess" Olivia shrugs

"Can we talk about something else? Distract me from turning back" He snaps still driving like a madman

Bella thinks for a second and awkwardly said "Put your seatbelt on"

Making him chuckle and repeats her words like a joke.

After the three made an excuse why Bella missed her time to have dinner with her friends:Jessica and Angela, they seemed to have bought the lie and went home on their own. But the three decided to head on to the small restaurant.

Bella and Olivia recieved their food orders, the waitress however shamelessly flirted with Edward for a bit, Bella grimace at this in disgust but still Edward did not make eye contact with the waitress.

Bella asked him as soon as the waitress was out of earshot "Not gonna eat?"

"I'm on a special diet" Edward said
