0.7 Someone's Creating an Army

[Third Person POV]

Cullen Residence

Edward picked Olivia and Bella up from the Wolf territory and brought them back to the Cullen side, entering in the house they saw Carlisle and Jasper watch the news in concern from the living room, while Emmett is draped over the couch.

"Seattle is in the state of terror, police are baffled by the escalating murders and disappearances, theories ranged from a vicious new gang of wildly active serial killers. Reporting live on CNN"

"It's getting worse, we're going to have to do something" Carlisle as he turned off the TV, staring directly at the three who just arrived from across

"It takes more than our kind to cause the damage they're reporting. Quite a few more, they're undisicplined, conspicuous.." Jasper says

"Newborns" Edward and Olivia stated at the same time

Bella looks at them two and back at the male Cullens, eyes narrowing "What, like new vampires?"

"In their first few months after the change" Edward explains shortly

Jasper adds with a clenched jaw "That's when we're at our most uncontrollable, vicious, insane with thirst" gritting his teeth at the end

Emmett grins "Something to look forward to"

"No one's trained these newborns, but this isn't random" Jasper said turning to Carlisle

"Someone's creating an army" the blonde leader says.

Emmett suddenly rises enthusiastic
"Oh now we're definitely going to Seattle!" heads off to somewhere in the house.

"An army of vampires?" Bella asks worriedly

"They've been created to fight someone" Jasper spoke glancing at her

Edward cuts in "We're the only clan even close to Seattle"

"Regardless of why they were made, if we don't put a stop to them, the Volturi will. I'm surprised they've let it go on this long" Carlisle said in deep thought

"Maybe they're behind it" Olivia lets out, making everyone in the room turn to her intrigued.

She finds their eyes on her so she continues to explain "In Italy, when Aro failed to read anything in my mind. I was already reading his... He tried to hide it but I saw, he wants me, Edward and Alice to join him"

Olivia glances at Edward wanting him to finish it for her. Oblivious to her fiance was already overthinking a few scenerios

"He thinks our gifts would add up to his power. He knows we'd never choose him as long as our family is still alive" Edward finishes

"An army could solve that for him" Jasper comments

Olivia eyes him "Jasper, not helping"

Bella turns to Edward, quite in a subtle panic "Edward I don't think we should wait til graduation. You need to change me now"

"Bella, no" He whispered to her

Jasper stands up from the couch staring directly at Bella "You'd be a liability as a newborn, unable to control your instincts. An easy target"

"There's also your father to consider and your mother. How terrible would it be for them if you suddenly disappeared" Carlisle added

Bella fell silent considering these truths if she decided to change in a hurry.

Emmett looks around the atmosphere worried "But we're still gonna kick someone's ass right?"

Ignoring his question, Carlisle looks uo to his mate "Olivia, can I talk to you for a minute?"

Silently nodding, the two went off to his study office. Closing the door for privacy.

"Yes?" she asks him taking place on his desk. Her mate stands right in front of her

"Whenever a fight happens between us and those newborns. I want you to stay out of it and protect Bella" Carlisle says

Narrowing her eyes "You don't want me in the fight?"

"It would ease my mind to know you're in the different side"

Olivia pushes herself out of his desk making him back away slightly "Do I really look that weak to you? I can handle my own in a fight, you know that" her voice slightly raised to anger

"Can a fractured arm explain?" he countered back

"That wasn't even a fight, it was an accident. I wouldn't have gotten hurt if it weren't for Paul clashing on us" she reasons

"This conversation is final. You're staying on Bella's side with Edward"

Without another word, Olivia leaves the office and out of the Cullen house ignoring Bella's or Jasper's call to not be alone.

[Sorry about this. I just felt that Olivia and Carlisle needs to be more in their relationship. So a bit of an argue needs to add to the spice. What's a strong couple without an argument? 😄]
