"Wait..so that's how the Volturi gave up on killing you guys?" Clara asked while standing beside Edwin. On their left side was Jacob and Renesmee standing too.
The four of them were by the shores watching the waves go back and forth, as they were sharing their story to Clara of what had happened before.
"Pretty much" Jacob shrugs with a smile
"We were just glad that aunt Alice and uncle Jasper made it just in time with the Brazilians" Renesmee said leaning her head on Jacob's shoulder
Clara nods "Yeah, way to go with showing Aro's future for sure. You're mom is so cool too" Edwin even explained about Aro's vision too
"Family is family" Edwin said putting his arm around her
Suddenly a voice called from behind them "Speaking of family!"
Both young couples turned around to find the parents of both hybrids had came to the beach. Renesmee went to hug her parents, while Edwin did the same

"Hey mom, dad"
"Oh Clara" Olivia said giving the auburn haired girl a hug too. She definitely returned it.
Ever since Edwin and Clara became a couple, the Cullens have welcomed her like family.
"We're not late, are we?" Olivia asked
Clara shakes her head "No, you're just in time" reassuringly smiled at her soon to be mother-in-law
"Come on, the sun is about to set" Jacob then leads the group to an area where there are two laid down logs for them to sit on. Edwin and his parents, along with Clara sat at one, while Bella and her own family took the other log.
Edwin was seated on the center, beside him is Carlisle while their own mates sat on different ends.
"Mom, dad" Edwin said, his parents turned to him curiously "Thank you"
"For what son?" Carlisle asked
"Just for not giving up on me," and his eyes glazed all around them, but lingered longer on Clara "and for this beautiful life"
Olivia sends her son a sweet smile, letting Carlisle used his free hand that wasn't around on Olivia's shoulders to rub Edwin's back as response.
