1.1 Newborn Battle

[Olivia's POV]

Stretching out my body, I wipe the sleepiness in my eyes to give me a clear vision of where I am. I was in the tent alone. So they woke up and left me here to sleep more, ha! What an excellent choice they picked out.

I unzipped the tent walking out to see the ground and trees covered in snow, Edward stood in the center staring at a certain direction. I followed to stand beside him and read his thoughts of what had happened earlier

Edward slowly turned his gaze at me, his face was almost glum, sad. My eyes widen after I got the whole gist. Jacob found out the truth, so Bella was trying to change his mind about his reckless choice.

I patted Edward comfortly and giving him an assuring smile.

'She'll still pick you, no matter what' I send it to him internally

In response he smiled gently and muttered "Thank you" out loud. Sending him one last smile, I walked away to find Seth

I found him scouting on the area in his wolf form. Once he saw me, his tail wagged happily trotting towards me, nudging his snout closer to me to pet it. So I did

"Hey Seth" I said to him while rubbing his head

(Hey Olivia) I can hear his voice inside my head.

I put my hand down "I'm glad you're here"

(Me too) he nods his wolf head.

Then it turned a bit sad, I read his deep thought. He was concerned for Jacob's well being about today. I sighed

"Drama, am I right?" I tried to cheer him up but it was in vain

Seth whines (I feel bad for him)

Humming in agreement "Me too, but Jacob has to accept it sooner or later"

Seconds later his head snaps facing me. His wolf mind-link towards the pack became on. I joined in and we both had the jitter of what's to happen to our friends and family.

"It's starting"

Like TV show, Edward and I connected to Seth's mind link to the pack, and we could see what is happening in the clearing.

The Cullens all stood in a line on one side, but the opposite were the newborns racing out of the trees roaring and growling. All of the Cullens starts to charge forward meeting the newborns at the center, with Jasper taking the lead and first kill, he punched a newborn's head off. Jasper controls the field using his strategy and speed vs strength. Clearly experienced, he was so professional on what he's doing.

Emmett sprints full bore into the fight relishing this battle, he'd been waiting for something like this for so long. Today he makes his mark.

Rosalie fights in an icy calmed aura, still she fought on skillfully. Alice with precognition, always right behind Jasper, the couple were deadly together in a fight.

Same goes for Esme and Carlisle, the bestfriends fought side by side. Yet the newborns never fails to show their brutal and strong attacks

Out of nowhere the wolves leaped up from the large boulder killing and biting all the newborns, joining the fight. The wolves worked together as a pack, coordinated and deadly. Newborns not expecting this, they were now lessened quicker in this fight.

Jacob's wolf form joins in the clearing and started to tackle the newborns.

"Jacob just got there, he's good" Edward informs Bella in our spot, she sighed in relief hearing the news.

Then Edward and I focus back on the battle. We now see Paul is surrounded by three newborns trying to take him down, but Emmett comes to his aid getting some of them off his back letting Paul kill the other nearest him. Then the two shared a look. A battlefield rapprochement indeed.

Carlisle and Esme found a hesitating newborn who didn't join the fight, a young girl, who looks like a 14 year old. How young to be turned like this against her will. Carlisle and Esme spares her by giving her a choice which she accepted openly. Not wanting to be in this battle any longer.

That's when I heard extra thoughts running in my head getting closer in our area, it was.....
