BD: IV. Our Baby

[Third Person POV]

The day after Edward and Bella left for their honeymoon trip. Olivia's stomach was growing more, the baby stomach is starting to show even more by the days that passed.

They kept her indoors, monitoring, taking care of her. Everyone took part in watching over Olivia. Her skin is a little pale but overall she looked a normal just with the baby bump.

Esme and Rosalie watches over her like a mother would for a child, Alice is the optimistic happy aunt-like figure. Emmett was in charge of entertaining Olivia with random stories and talks, or jokes. Jasper in the other hand was like a therapist and a chill-buddy.

Carlisle most of all, was the protective one. Often times it's like he wouldn't let Olivia walk around without someone by her side, or grabbing something without any help. For short it's like he was the one babying Olivia. She didn't mind but it gets her sometimes that she has to remind Carlisle that she's completely alright.

But honestly, though they were supportive and rather helpful, they were worried for the condition of Olivia. All they knew was that the baby is to deliver all right soon. But what's gonna happen to her, makes them afraid.

One day, Alice, Jasper and Emmett were out hunting. Esme and Rosalie were somewhere in the house doing their own thing. Leaving Carlisle alone with Olivia who is laying on the couch reading a book. He sits by the edge.

Carlisle couldn't really focus on the book he was reading, his mind was racing on how else can he do to help his wife. Suddenly he puts the book down on the coffee table in front and turns to Olivia who is slightly grimacing but hides it well, not for Carlisle who could see pass her mask.

"Anything you need?" concerned laced in his features, as he takes her hand

Olivia smiles softly at him "I'm okay"

"The food you've been taking isn't giving you the nutrition you need. It's strange, you should be fine by now" Carlisle trails looking down on his lap as if there were some answers on it

"Carlisle, remember this isn't a normal
pregnancy, right?" Olivia place her hand on his cheek, it calmed Carlisle a bit.

"I'm worried, ultrasounds won't work, the food, and it's crushing a few parts of your rib" he points out the things that's making him worry

"I have the vampire healing. I'll be fine" Olivia reassures her husband, he was still not having it. Carlisle could tell she was not in a good healthy state

"But your body, the baby. I don't know what to do if..."

She cuts him off "Carlisle, what if it's hungry and craving?" she suggests. Making Carlisle get interested with the theory.
