BD: II. Wedding Preparations

[Olivia's POV]

Ever since I found out that I was pregnant, Carlisle was in a state of shock for awhile, I didn't even think it was possible to get pregnant. I was surprised and happy at the same time but I couldn't really explain Carlisle's face that day. Once he told me the truth about the 'immortal child' story.

But I had faith that the child, the fetus inside me isn't an immortal child. It broke my heart when Carlisle wanted to take it out of me, but I fought and argued that I'm willing to keep this baby

'Olivia, it can kill you! I'm not willing to have a future without you!'

'It's not gonna happen cause I know we can make it. I'm keeping this whether you like it or not'

Carlisle kept silent and didn't disagree, he was devastated of my decision. He admits that he does want children with me if it was in a different situation, it was a risk giving this one a try but I want to see through it. When we head back to the Cullen house, thankfully Edward and Bella weren't there.

We told the rest of the family about my pregnancy. It was a long conversation and debate with each other, then we had our votes to keep it or not. Rosalie, Esme and Emmett were in with me, Jasper remained neutral. Carlisle was still a no. When we turned to Alice she was in a dazed, unfocused. We asked her of what she saw.

Alice gave us all a big smile, before I could decided to read her mind, she already exclaimed "It's gonna have blue eyes!"

With her confidence, we were all sure that the baby was gonna be alright with me. Carlisle has second thoughts for the moment, yet with my hardened determination for my child, our child. Carlisle gives in and decides to keep it too.

We all kept it secret from the engaged couple for the moment just so they wouldn't be all over us and ruin their big day soon. We didn't want them to rush on the pressure of thinking about kids.

With Edward being a mind reader, I put up mental walls on each regarding the truth of my pregnancy. That way, Edward can't read about the truth in their minds.

Now here we are, preparing everything for the wedding. I made sure to wear a bit draped clothes just to cover my small baby bump from the others. For days we kept it secret.

I stayed by the porch, watching Bella trying to walk on her wedding heels in order to break them in since it was too stiff. Alice watched as well.

Bella looks down at her feet and stumbles a little. She stopped and turns to Alice.

"You just have to break them in" Alice encourages with her bright smile

"I've been breaking them in. For three days. Can I just go barefoot?" Bella murmured

Alice gives her the look "No, absolutely not"

"Just thinking it's a little much, you know? The dress and the shoes, and all of this" Bella motions to the rest of what's happening in front of us. The rest of our family were walking together, decorating and arranging the area for their wedding.

Olivia giggles, memories flashing about her wedding, she pats Bella on her back "You'll learn to get use to it, Bella"

Jasper and Carlisle passes by carrying benches for the wedding sending the us warm smiles.

Alice turns to Bella "You should just agree with Olivia and for your statement; No, it's exactly enough. Tomorrow will be perfect"

"Where do you want them, boss?" Emmett comes in carrying a long tree trunk. Alice glances at the buffed vampire, pointing to an area "On either side of the aisle"

Rosalie walks past behind Emmett carrying a fat tree stump

"What aisle?" she questions

Alice sighs "Does no one have vision?" walking away to guide Emmett and Rosalie to where they should put it.

I muttered under my breath "She is the only one with vision" I said in a matter of fact tone earning a giggle from Bella, as they watched the pixie haired girl walk away.

Bella takes off her wedding heels and puts her converse back on. She looks up into a window in the house and found Edward by the terrace, who is watching his family get everything set up for their wedding. I followed her gaze and realized what her feeling was.

"Nervous?" I asked, Bella went silent for an answer. So I continued "Don't worry, everything will work out as planned" I assured her.

"Were you this nervous on your wedding with Carlisle?" she turns to me now.

Shrugging my shoulders a bit "Well a little...super nervous but seeing him up the altar made it all go away. It made me realized that it's just another journey beginning"

Hint the inside message there. My hand slowly went to my stomach discreetly, caressing it when Bella wasn't looking my way. Then Alice comes back to our line of vision.

"You, go home and get lots of
beauty sleep. That's an order" she pointedly say to Bella

She nods "Okay"

The three us shared a hug before Bella walks out of the place, heading back home. Alice picks up the her wedding heels, looks at them and smiles. When she glanced at something behind, she gives me a smirk and walked away happily.

Confused with her attitude, I turn to see who was behind. Carlisle was heading in my way holding both of my hands lovingly.

"She has the wedding jitters" I blurted out, pointing to the direction where Bella went.

He followed it for awhile and nods
"I remember having those too"

"You were pretty fine that day" I said, disbelief on my face from what he said

"My emotions were all over the place, you could ask Jasper"

We shared a short laugh for a moment. His gaze fixed on my stomach, I followed his eyes smiling down as he puts a hand on it and mine on top of his.

"When?" I asked

"Soon, as they're heading for the island" he answers, then he turns serious

"You know your happiness is all I care about"

"I know" I conform with a nod

Then our eyes met, "I'm sorry for wanting to get rid of..."

Carlisle has not only been happy about our coming child, he's been feeling guilty around me about his desire before to abort it. I quickly hushed him before he can continue. I didn't want him to be this way forever.

"Shush, it's okay, I understand why most of you felt that way. I would too if I was in your shoes, but remember what Alice said, she saw a vision of a baby with blue eyes. Even with or without her vision, I would want this child to be in this world. Nothing can change that" I said determinedly calm

He pulls me for a hug, where my face rest on his chest and his lips glazed on my hair as he whispered

"Then the rest and I will always be here for you every step of the way"

That was all I needed...Him, me and the family all together to take care of each other and this baby in me.
