A week passed, Carlisle had been doing check-ups on his son Edwin and Bella often. Everyone noticed how Edwin is starting to grow like a young kid fast, and had the same scent as Olivia has. A hybrid smell which doesn't really concern the others anymore since they've gotten used to it.
But Bella was getting worse, even more sicker and tired.
Everyone in the living room grew more worried and concerned for her. Bella was just laying on the couch holding on to her pregnant belly. Jacob, Olivia, and Edward were closest to her. Carlisle stayed standing in the corner
Esme and Rosalie seated across from Bella, but Alice and Jasper were on another loveseat watching young Edwin sitting on the floor coloring on his coloring book. Jasper became close with him taking role as godfather sibling.
"It's so cold" Bella shuddered a bit
Edward was about to get more blankets but Jacob stops him "Here" he leans close next to her so she'll be warm enough, yet still she's feeling sick again. Bella grasps on Jacob's arm for heat.
"We need to find a way to get some food into her system" Esme says earning agreeing looks from everyone
"If I could only see the fetus"
Rosalie corrects Alice "The baby"
She ignores it "Maybe I could figure out what it wants"
"It's probably not so different than mine" Olivia suddenly let out. Bella turns to her
"What are you thinking?"
Olivia makes eye contact with Carlisle shortly and back to Bella "I had the same situation when I was pregnant with Edwin. I had to settle for his thirst. This can work for you too"
Jacob scoffs "You mean, it's probably just looking for someone to sink its teeth into?"
"He's thirsty" Bella says
"I know the feeling" Emmet said from his spot, eyes dark as coal.
Edward sits up straight "If it's craving, it's not gonna want animal blood"
"I have some O negative laid aside for Bella" Carlisle walks away to take a blood bag
Jasper lits up at the mention of blood, but Alice takes his hand "Walk with me" the couple exited the room, along with Emmett. As soon as they walk away, Edwin turns to his mother, walking close to her.
"Wait, are you gonna make her drink that?" Jacob looked disturbed as he watches Carlisle pour blood in a glass cup

The doctor replied to him "It's the fastest way for Bella to gain something"
"Only if you're comfortable with it" Edward turns to Bella
