The following day, the Cullens with Olivia and Bella made it to the forest where they found a small clearing in between the two territories. While waiting for the wolf pack to arrive, the others stood on the sidelines watching Emmett and Jasper spar, it's been a few times already Emmett lost to the texan blonde. His excuse would be 'Just warming up'
Of course, no one in the family believed that. For the third round, Emmett flung through the air landing hard on his back by Jasper. Emmett immediately springs up.
"Again!" he yelled ready for fourth.
"Wait! They're here" Olivia called to the rest, her gaze already fixed on the other side. The family followed her gaze and saw on the treeline, eight wolves appeared making their way in different areas on the upper ground.

"They don't trust us enough to be in their human forms, except to Olivia" Edward said out loud after reading Sam's thoughts
Rosalie scoffs quietly.
"They came, that's what matters" Carlisle said with his hands clasp behind his back. He went forward

"Welcome, Jasper has experienced with newborns. He'll teach us how to defeat them" he gestured to Jasper who was not too far behind

"They want to know how the newborns different from us" Olivia translated for her mate
"They're a great deal stronger than us because their own human blood lingers in their tissues. Our kind is never more physically powerful than in our first several months in this life" Carlisle finished his part and stepped back joining Olivia who stayed by Edward's Volvo. The two let half of their weight being carried by the car.
Jasper took Carlisle's place in front of the wolves "Carlisle's right, that's why they were created. A newborn army doesn't need thousands like a human army, and no human army could stand against them.
