BD2: III. Charlie Visit & Fun Time

[Third Person POV]

Jacob came back to the Cullen house aboht an hour ago, and admitted to them that he told Charlie about the truth of himself and that Bella changed, without revealing to the man how she's actually a vampire now. Along with a lie that they have a neice they adopted.

Now they only have ten minutes to help Bella for her father's visit. So the Cullen's do all they can to prepare Bella.

"These will irritate your eyes at first" Alice places contact lenses in her eyes gently, Bella's eyes adjusted to the sight with her contact lenses.

"The main thing is not to move too fast" Carlisle says.

Bella nods taking mental note on every advice she hears from them. Esme turns to her "Try taking a seat. Crossing your legs"

So Bella gets up to take a seat but unintentionally moves too fast with her vampire speed and slams into the seat from across the room. Everyone looked at her quite surprised but remained calm.

Olivia smiles reassuringly "Maybe a tad slower?" Carlisle nods at that 

"And blink at least three times a minute" Alice adds, Bella starts blinking repeatedly.

"Good"

"For a cartoon character" Jacob remarked

Carlisle puts an arm on Olivia's shoulder as he advises Bella again "Hold your breath, it will help with the thirst"

"Just don't forget to move your shoulders, so it looks like you're breathing" Edward says from the couch

Doing what he says, Bella starts moving her shoulders up and down just how Carlisle and Alice demonstrated to her earlier.

"And don't sit so straight, humans don't do that" Rosalie noticed how stiffed Bella looks

She gets up from the chair nodding at everyone understandingly "Okay I got it. Move around, blink and slouch"

Suddenly they hear Charlie's car nearby, turning the ignition off and parks outside.

"Good luck" Alice says before walking  away from the room with others except Jacob, Edward and Olivia who stayed with Bella.
