[Olivia's POV]

I was just packing a few clothes and extra layers inside a gym bag and few of neccesities like any other human being.

*Phone rings*

I paused from packing and turned to my phone ringing on my nightstand. To see the caller ID was just Bella I smiled and answered it

[The Call]
Bella Olivia

Hey Olivia
Hi to you too

Look I was wondering
if you wanna see the
movie Face Punch with
a few friends?

Bells, you know how much
I don't like Jessica and the
company, you call 'friends'

I know, but the others
I can tell would bail
leaving me with Mike
alone

Oh uhm....boy drama

Yeah, please come?

Uhm..I have hiking plans
and won't be back for a week at least

So sudden?

Yeah, it's been almost a
month I haven't uhm fed,
and I'm scared to hurt
anybody. So sorry Bells,
I need this.

*sighs sadly*

If you don't wanna be alone,
call Jacob to join you

I hated lying to Bella but I promised the Cullens to not mention anything to her of them. So I went on to lie instead and plus it's also for her own good of 'healing'. I tossed my phone only for it to bounce on my mattress, I continued packing then paused again to glance at the ticket laying on my pillow that Alice had graciously snucked it in my pocket before.

[Carlisle's POV]

It's been weeks I haven't joined the others to hunt or to hunt on my own, with each passing moment without seeing Olivia makes me feel numb for lose appetite to feed or get thirst for the animals. Esme and the others have grown worried for my health, but I always assured them that I'll be fine, since I'm the one with the longest endurance to resist human blood better than any of them, so I'll be fine. Seemed like they didn't bother me anymore but deep down I longed for Olivia's text to spark my phone, hoping a letter from her to read on my spare time, most importantly I longed to hear her sweet voice and feel her sinking in my arms where I can keep her safe.

"It'll be good for you to hunt now, look how black your eyes are now" Rosalie said as she barged in my room unannounced.

I continued to surf something on the internet with my laptop "I'll go later Rosalie" I said absentmindely

Knowing I wasn't really paying her much attention, she walks out of my room surprisingly calm like she expected my reaction. A soft knock touched the door

"Just hunt with the others Rosalie" I said

"Good thing I'm not Rosalie" a familiar voice called from my door. My head instantly snaps at the source, a wave of happiness tackled me in my emotions

"You're here!" I speed towards her after putting my laptop away, engulfing Olivia in a tight hug and twirled her around, the both of us laughed happily.

"How?" I asked once I put her down still not letting her go, our hands were on each other.

She smiled "Alice and Jasper might've snuck a ticket in my pocket when hugging goodbye"

"I'll thank them later" then the both us shared the kiss we longed for months now.

To say that Olivia was always with me, well we can say that sentence would be fully wrong. Alice and the others would hog up on her like a new toy and tell her stories of what happened with things around here, which involved my lack to hunt now that earned me an earful scolding talk from Olivia so she made me hunt with her. The Denali coven welcomed her with open arms after finding out that she was actually my mate.

Even then, Emmett would pull pranks or play snowball fights with her outside, Jasper enjoyed to just be at her company quietly to read books by the fireplace.

But when finally we have our time alone together, Olivia and I go on to catching up with things, often cuddle together on the couch missing the intimacy that we had before. I even filled her in about what happened to Edward, who stayed in Rio, Brazil, calling us once a month.

For few days straight, it's been cheery here in Alaska since Olivia came and lightened up everyone's atmosphere.
Then tomorrow she would have to go back to Forks.

Our last moment together is to just spend time together laying on the bed, her head on top of my chest, my hands holding her form to keep her steady. Thought unable to sleep, we only wanted to be in each other's presence

"I wish I can stay, but I have to go back" Olivia said gazing at the ceiling, talking about the elephant in the room.

Sighing "I know. I don't want this moment to end either" my hands squeezed a bit tighter

Olivia gently turn her face to look at me "Will you all come back to Forks soon?"

I meet her gaze "It's not certain yet, but we all want to just as much you want us there" then she snuggled closer to me.

"I'll drive you to the airport first thing in the morning" I said while rubbing her back to relax my mate. It worked as she hummed satisfied with the touch.

If only time can freeze for a while to make this moment between me and Olivia to be happier.
