Chapter 12-New York

We are currently in the airport waiting for our flight. Tris, Connor and James are staying with us while we wait.

"Trina, when you get back here Ill finally introduce you to my girlfriend" Tris said

I smiled and nod "sure, Ill look forward to that"

"mate, you enjoy okay?" Connor said and then he laughed

"yeah, and can you stop laughing?" Brad smirked

"what? Im just excited for the both of you" Connor said

"sure, its not like somethings gonna happen" Bradley said

The boys chuckled and said "make sure Bradley." James said

"dont worry, I'll look after your Bradley, boys" I said and chuckled

"no, more like I will look after you" Bradley smirked

"okay okay guys, enjoy okay? We'll see you when you get back." Connor said

"im in shock, you are not laughing anymore" Bradley said

WE ARE currently inside the plane. After hours of flight, we finally arrived in New York.

After how many minutes, we made our way to the door. Well its good to be back.

"is someone here to pick us up?" Bradley asked as soon as we got inside the airport

"no, we'll just ride the uber I booked. Its probably waiting now" I said

After all the airport things, we went out to find our uber. Its a good thing its already here.

I really hate it in the airport. You still need to do a lot of things. Hassle.

BRADLEY AND I arrived infront of my apartment. We made our way inside as soon as I opened it.

I missed my place. I missed staying here. I miss everything about New York.

"Nice place" Bradley said as he looked around

"Yes. I lived here after I graduated college." I smiled

I went up stairs and showed him his room "Here. You'll be staying here." and then I opened the door.

He walked inside and said "seriously? the bed's huge"

"I did that on purpose. This is where my visitors stay. But believe me, you are the first one to stay in this room." I chuckled

"why?" he asked and sat down at the edge of the bed

"my friends sometimes stay in the living room or in my room" I explained

"so you dont want me to stay with you in your room?" he asked

I laughed "please stop. And rest because we are visiting my cafe later. Gotta fix things"

I made my way out of the room and went inside mine.

"Trina?" I heard as soon as I went inside my room

Gahd this girl really has a big mouth

"Hey Victoria" I went down stairs and gave her a hug

"I missed you" she said

"I dont feel the same, sorry" I joked

then I laughed "just kidding! of course I missed you too Victoria"

Victoria is my very first friend here in New York. We went to college together.

She was supposed to look after my business while Im away but I remembered it was Lyle's job.

Lyle, was the one who told me about the incident. She's the cafe's manager. And thats what managers do, look after.

"oh and who is this handsome man" she said as soon as she saw Bradley went down the stairs

Bradley walked towards us and stayed beside me. His hands around my waist.

"Victoria, this is Bradley my fiancée. Bradley, this is Victoria my friend" I introduced them to each other
"pleasure to meet you, Victoria" Bradley offered his hand for a handshake

"likewise" Victoria smiled

"so do you have a broth-"

"Victoria, please? He does not have a brother. But he has his bandmates. You can search them on google" I said and made my way to the living room.

Victoria is so on to guys. He dates a lot of guys.

I dont even think she's still a virgin.

"oh, sorry about that." she said and laughed

"How's life Victoria?" I asked

she sat across me while Bradley was beside me with his arms still around my waist.

You know, Bradley has a very big effect on me.

I admit, I get really happy when he's around.

Im sometimes good in hiding feelings. I think its really great.

"Well girl, I met a guy last Friday in a bar. He's a football player, too bad still in highschool" she rolled her eyes

"Victoria? dont even think about it" I said

"you're dating a sophomore?" Bradley asked and chuckled

"we're not dating, we just made out that night" Victoria laughed

Victoria is a really beautiful girl. Boys chase after her. Sometimes she's not choosy when it comes to boys. But sometimes she can be really choosy.

She never introduced a guy to her family. She never even had a long relationship with a guy. Probably the longest she had was 3 or 4 weeks. Im still proud of her even if she cant settle.

I still love her even when she's like this.

"Victoria, I love you. But you really are a slut sometimes." I said

she just laughed and said "honey, I know that. Im glad you still stayed with me even when Im like this" she went near me and gave me a hug

I love the friendship I have with Victoria. Whenever we fight, she always apologize first. Not because she's scared of not having friends, or losing me. But because she's that kind of girl.

I sometimes feel pitty on her. Guys take advantage of her sometimes so I try to talk to her about it. She said she's aware and she does not care about those boys anyway.

I love her spirit.

Victoria sat back infront of me. "Have you checked your cafe?" she asked.

"nope, we're going there later" I sighed

"How about now?" Bradley asked and I looked at him

"You need to rest Bradley, we had a tiring flight" I said

"Im still good. We can rest after we visit your cafe. Lets go?" He stood up and offered his hands to help me stand.
