Chapter 18-Only one

Bradley and I just got home yesterday. The cafe was finally back to normal. And I do not have to worry about it, for now.

It's Friday today and the only thing going on right now is the planning of my brother's birthday. Yes, everything's not yet settled.

"So first thing that's going to happen is The Vamps performing, then Elijah will be giving his birthday speech" My mother's secretary explained it to her and then she continued explaining more.

Why did she even let her secretary do this? She has things to do too in the office.

I stood up and made my way to the kitchen. I need something to eat.

"How was New York Trina?" my brother asked

I sighed, "tiring, yet fun"

My brother smirked, "like what fun did you do there?"

"We strolled around the City and I visited Columbia Uni" I chuckled

"Did something happen?" he asked and he was still smirking

What's up with the smirking thing?

"of course! something happened to my cafe" I rolled my eyes

"Nothing else?" he asked again

"what else did you want to happen brother?" I asked and glared at him

"oh nevermind. Also, if you are thinking of buying me a gift, dont think about it Im too old for that" he chuckled

"Dont worry, I never thought of giving you" I said and made my way back to the living room.

I reached the living room and saw my mom and Harris talking.

"Trina, hey" Harris greeted.

You know there's something I dont like about this guy. He looks annoying.

"Hi, Harris. If youre here about the wedding again, dont worry about it, everythings going really fine" I chuckled

But believe me it was a fake chuckle

"oh no Trina. I was just here to inform you and your mother that Derek and Anne Simpson will be home by Thursday" he smiled

"That's great. I cant wait to meet them" I smiled

"They also scheduled a dinner with you, honey" mom said

I just nod and sat down beside my mother.

I got my phone and opened my social medias. These endorsements are still bothering me. But whatever.

My phone chimed and it was a message from Bradley

Hey the boys thought you'd come with us on tour today

Right, I remembered when he wanted me to come with them on tour. But I cant right now.

I need to rest and I need to be here for the discussions about my brother's birthday.

I was in charge of the food buffet. That's right, Im living for food.

Food is life but I never get fat. It's sometimes questionable and sometimes really great. heh

Yeah, tell them next time, I'll be there.

Bradley
Tris and James brought their girlfriends with them. Too bad you couldnt meet them.

Trina
Well, tell them to bring their girlfriends with them on my brother's birthday😉

Bradley
Sure, baby. Wish you were here though 😬

Trina
LOL whatever but enjoy okay? And I'll see you when you get back

Bradley
dont worry about me baby. There are thousands of girls screaming but you're the only one for me.

Shit. No way. Im not going to oh sht.

This is too good to be true.

I ran towards my room and threw myself in bed.

I cant just leave him on read. He might think Im dead and screaming about what he just said.

I checked my phone again and he left a new message.

Aww shit. Here we go again with this word. It's making me really weak.

Okay so I need to reply and act normal. But I am normal? Oh wait I need to stay calm and make an excuse

sorry, we were just discussing about Elijah's birthday.

Bradley
Okay, gotta go. We're starting in 15 minutes.

good luck and have fun! Don't jump too much you might bump into James again hahaha
