Chapter 14-double date

Victoria, Bradley, Manuel and I are at Victoria's pizza diner.

I knew she was planning to have a diner of her own and now its here. We planned our business together way back when were were still in college.

I cant even believe that we are now both so successful.

"Victoria, you never told me you already opened your diner" I said as soon as she sat infront of me.

"oh it opened the other day so I waited for you to come here" she said

She called one of her waiters and asked to bring us two large pizzas.

after ordering, Victoria squeaked, "this is a double date guys, so pay attention Manuel"

Manuel shrugged, "whatever you say Victoria but do not assume that I like you"

"I dont even like you too so can shut up?" Victoria rolled her eyes

"remember when we had a pizza date?" Bradley whispered beside me

Oh wait, that was a date?

I stared at him and asked "was that even a date?"

he chuckled "of course. Everytime we go out together, its a date wife"

"Fiancée, Bradley. You're not yet really married to call her wife" Manuel said

Here we go again. This guy is really trying to get into ky nerves.

Bradley turned to him and I looked at Manuel.

"Manuel? can you not barge into their conversation like that?" Victoria said and rolled her eyes

I just sighed and looked at Bradley. "Im sorry about Manuel"

He just smiled and nod.

Our food arrived so we started eating.

Victoria and I loves pizza. I remember when we were still in college, we used to eat pizza together every Friday. We go to different pizza restaurant.

"so how long are you guys going to stay here?" Victoria asked

"we'll leave when her cafe's already fixed" Bradley smiled

We are only here staying for 4 days. I need to get back home before Elijah's birthday. I assured him I'll be there.

Besides, its a big celebration.

"The cafe's going to be fixed tomorrow. Lyle has a friend who can fix it. And I have to be home before Elijah's birthday" I sighed

Yes, before we went here, Lyle told me about her friend. She told me we would be expecting her friend tomorrow.

Victoria immediately looked at me, "oh yeah my gosh Trinity Sapphire, how is your brother" she smirked

I know this look.

"Dont even think about it V, he has a girlfriend." I chuckled

"too late Victoria" Manuel said and laughed

"I have a friend, I can introduce you to him if you like" Bradley shrugged at Victoria

Victoria smiled so wide at Brad "seriously? who is this guy?" she asked

I looked at Brad and he just chuckled

"Connor Ball, he plays the bass in our band"

"okay, I'll be coming with you guys when you get back to London" she immediately said and took her phone excitingly.
