It's my grandmother's birthday today. My father's mother.

We are on our way to her house. I suppose this is going to be fun because I'll be seeing my cousins and some relatives.

And... Bradley's not coming with us. Dad wanted him to come but he said he was busy. Yeah of course, he's busy so he can't come with us.

"TRINA!" Alexhia my favorite cousin yelled and ran towards me.

I pulled her for a hug, "How are you?" I asked

She smiled, "Im great. Im so happy to see you"

"Heard you're getting married for real" she giggled

Oh, I didn't see that coming.

When can I escape?

I scoffed, "Really? I'm not here to talk about that"

I walked towards some of my cousins and talked with them.

I'm not here to talk about the wedding shits.

Im here to celebrate and drink til I can't anymore.

"Happy Birthday Nonna!" I greeted and pulled her for a hug.

"My Trina, I've missed you" she said

"How about me?" Elijah asked

My grandmother chuckled, "of course, you too!" She pulled him for a hug.

"By the way, this is Haley. My girlfriend" Elijah introduced Haley to Nonna.

Right, Haley's with us. It's great though. She's nice.

MY cousins and I are in a big round table.

Talking about things and drinking. There are a lot of alcohols in here. This isn't a bad place after all.

"I thought Bradley was coming with us?" Haley whispered beside me.

He doesn't need to be here with us.

If he needs to meet my father's family, he needs to wait.

I huffed, "He's a busy person" I said and took the bottle of beer.

"Woah, woaahh. Chill. We just started." Haley chuckled

I rolled my eyes, "I need this"

"Me too. But Elijah and I talked about this already" She sighed

I chuckled, "Seriously? Here" I grabbed a bottle of beer and handed it to her, "Enjoy"
"Trina, I heard how successful you are already" my cousin, Troy said.

I dont know. Maybe, sometimes.

I chuckled, "Not yet"

I grabbed the bottle and drank again.

"How's life, really?" Alexhia asked and sat down beside me.

I sighed, "Life is good, sometimes"

She chuckled, "Sometimes? Why is that?"

"I dont know. Life pisses me off you know"

"Well... Life does that to everyone" She said

I keep drinking alcohol and I've finished two bottles already. Good thing it's the small bottles.

"Do you go to work?" I asked her

She huffed, "I just look after mom's restaurant"

Right. They have a restaurant. After her father left them, life's been really hard for them too.
