Chapter 10: I Am Offered A Chance To Die.

The next morning, Chiron moved me into the Apollo cabin. It was so bright and full of life! It was exactly like me. I met all my brothers and sisters too. But there were two that seemed the most relatable to me were Will Solace and Charlotte Blake. The whole cabin was raving about how I shot an arrow perfectly even when I was seriously injured and then managed to heal myself even though I didn't know my dad was Apollo.

"How did you do it?" Asked Will. "How did you know that healing hymn?"

"Well, I heard it when I was maybe 2 or 3. It was when I had just got pneumonia, I heard a man humming a tune. I remember sitting up in my crib and looking around my room, and then I saw him. He was this tall blonde man. He sort of had this glow about him. But I only ever saw him again when I broke my leg and was in the hospital. He was a doctor there. Both times he was humming that tune. And both times I made a quick recovery."

"Wow!" Exclaimed Charlotte. "I bet it was Dad! He does that sometimes."

"Yeah, I've only heard of him doing it once before. He only did it because he knew that he would turn out to be the God of Medicine. And that was our brother, Asclepius. You must be important in the future." Explained Will. (I just made that up. ~Liv)

"Wow. So I might turn out to be a God!" I said with a smirk.

"Oh gods. You're gonna be a handful" Muttered Charlotte "Not necessarily. You could just be important in a difficult time."

"Okay. Thank you guys so much, but I've got to go. I've got lessons with Annabeth. See you later!" I called while walking out the door.

"What do you think it means Annie?" I asked.

"I don't know. It could mean that your the Apollo child from the-" Annabeth cut herself off "I don't know Karls..."

"Yes, you do Annabeth Chase! Tell me! What about that Apollo child?" I questioned.

"Fine. But don't tell anyone. Especially Percy."

"I promise."

"There is a prophecy. It's about a child of the big three and a 'special' child of Apollo. No one knows what the special part means but it might be the reason why your dad visited you twice, one more time that he visited his son that would one day become a god! Whatever it means, you will be very important in the future."

BOY, GIRL, AND MOTHER STILL MISSING AFTER FREAK CAR ACCIDENT

Sally Jackson, her goddaughter Karlee Gray, and her son Percy Jackson are still missing one week after their mysterious disappearance. The family's badly burned '78 Camaro was discovered last Sunday on a north Long Island road with the roof ripped off and the front axel broken. The car had flipped and skidded for several hundred feet before exploding.

Mother, son, and goddaughter had gone for a weekend vacation to Montauk, but left hastily, under mysterious circumstances. Small traces of blood were found in the car and near the scene of the wreck, but there were no other signs of the missing family. Residents in the rural area reported seeing nothing unusual around the time of the accident.

Ms. Jackson's husband, Gabe Ugliano, claims that his stepson, Percy Jackson, and wife's goddaughter, Karlee Gray, are troubled kids who have been kicked out of numerous boarding schools and have expressed violent tendencies in the past.
