The end of the summer vacation came too quickly for my liking. I was looking forward to getting back to Hogwarts, but I loved staying at the Burrow. It was difficult not to feel jealous of the Weasley's when I thought of about Mya leaving. I envied their family. They didn't always agree, but they still loved eachother.

On our last evening, Mrs. Weasley conjured up a sumptuous dinner that included all of Harry and my favorite things, ending with a mouthwatering treacle pudding. Fred, George, and I rounded off the evening with a display of Filibuster fireworks; we filled the kitchen with red and blue stars that bounced from ceiling to wall for at least half an hour. Then it was time for a last mug of hot chocolate and bed.

It took a long while to get started next morning. We were up at dawn, but somehow we still seemed to have a great deal to do.

Mrs. Weasley dashed about in a bad mood looking for spare socks and quills; people kept colliding on the stairs, half-dressed with bits of toast in their hands; and Mr. Weasley nearly broke his neck, tripping over a stray chicken as he crossed the yard carrying Ginny's trunk to the car.

When at last we were all in the car, Mrs. Weasley glanced into the back seat, where Harry, Ron, Fred, George, me, and Percy were all sitting comfortably side by side, and said, "Muggles do know more than we give them credit for, don't they?" She and Ginny got into the front seat, which had been stretched so that it resembled a park bench. "I mean, you'd never know it was this roomy from the outside, would you?"

Mr. Weasley started up the engine and we trundled out of the yard. We were immediately back because George had forgotten his box of Filibuster fireworks. Five minutes after that, we skidded to a halt in the yard so that Fred could run in for his broomstick. We had almost reached the highway when Ginny shrieked that she'd left her diary. By the time she had clambered back into the car, we were running very late, and tempers were running high.
Mr. Weasley glanced at his watch and then at his wife.

"Molly, dear-"

"No, Arthur-"

"No one would see - this little button here is an Invisibility Booster I installed - that'd get us up in the air - then we fly above the clouds. We'd be there in ten minutes and no one would be any the wiser -"

"I said no, Arthur, not in broad daylight -"

We reached King's Cross at a quarter to eleven. Mr. Weasley dashed across the road to get trolleys for our trunks and we all hurried into the station.

The tricky part was getting onto platform nine and three-quarters, which wasn't visible to the Muggle eye. What you had to do was walk through the solid barrier dividing platforms nine and ten. It didn't hurt, but it had to be done carefully so that none of the Muggles noticed you vanishing.

"Percy first," said Mrs. Weasley, looking nervously at the clock overhead, which showed we had only five minutes to disappear casually through the barrier.

Percy strode briskly forward and vanished. Mr. Weasley went next; Fred, George and I followed.

I walked out on the other side of the barrier and was herded onto the train by Fred and George. I tried to complain that I wanted to wait for Ron and Harry, but they insisted that I could find them on the train. I allowed myself to be pulled onto the train.

After a few minutes of catching up with Angie, Katie, Alicia, and Lee, I excused myself to go find Hermione, Ginny, Harry, and Ron.

I am going to kill them, I thought to myself.

I barged into their compartment. They grinned at me until they saw my face.

"I swear if I had my dagger right now I would gut you both like fishes."

"What! We didn't even do anything yet!" Said Fred.

"How are you already cross with us!?" Added George.

"Harry and Ron aren't on the train!" I yelled. They paled.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes!" I yelled exasperated, as I plopped down on the seat. "Hermione, Ginny, Bailey and I have looked in every compartment 20 times!"

"I'm sure they'll show up when we get to Hogwarts." said Angie as she rubbed my back soothingly.

I put my head in my hands as I sighed. "Your right, Angie. And if they don't-" I looked at the twins with a glare. "-I'll put my dagger to good use."

They gulped.

"Well, I'm gonna go back to Mione, Bailey, and Ginny." I stood up and walked out of the compartment. "'Just get on the train!' They said! 'They'll get on any second!' Honestly! I've got to stop listening to them!"

It felt as though the whole of Gryffindor House was still awake, packed into the circular common room, standing on the lopsided tables and squashy armchairs, waiting for Harry and Ron to arrive. We all burst into applause as they entered. Arms reached through the portrait hole to pull Harry and Ron inside. Bailey and I ran up to them and gave them hug.

"You weren't worried were you, Becca?" Asked Harry sarcastically.

"Bloody hell! Harry! I threatened to gut Fred and George like fishes is you didn't turn up! I was out of my mind with worry!" They both smirked at me. "Get those smirked off your faces. I have my dagger now."

They paled and turned to the crowd.

"Brilliant!" yelled Lee. "Inspired! What an entrance! Flying a car right into the Whomping Willow, people'll be talking about that one for years -"

Fred and George pushed their way to the front of the crowd and said together, "Why couldn't we've come in the car, eh? It would have been better than crazy over there."

I was standing near them and was twirling my dagger in my hands as I glared at the twins. Bailey was standing next to me laughing the whole time.

"Got to get upstairs - bit tired," Harry said, and the two of them started pushing their way toward the door on the other side of the room, which led to a spiral staircase and the dormitories.

"'Night," Harry called back to Hermione, Bailey, and I.

"Let's go up to bed too." I said to them. She nodded. "I just want to find Ginny first."

They walked up the stairs, talking, as I walked over to where the first year was sitting.

"Hey. I think we should go to bed. Today was a crazy day."

"Yeah."

I put my arm around her as we walked up to our dorms. We looked for her dorm but didn't see it on the first year dorms.

"You can stay with us tonight. They girls won't mind." She nodded. "We'll talk to Minnie tomor-"

I stopped suddenly as I saw the plaque on the second years dorm door.

It said, "Hermione Granger, Bailey Lupin, Karlee Gray, and Ginny Weasley."

"Good ol' Minnie." I pushed the door open.

"Looks like we're roomies again." Ginny laughed.

We all changed into pajamas and sat on the edges to talk. After an hour of catching up we decided to go to bed.
