Chapter 55:We Have No Clue What We're Doing!!

Fred's POV

George and I raced down to the Hospital Wing when we heard what happened to Karlee.

When we ran in we saw Harry, Ron, Ginny, Hermione and Bailey standing outside a curtain where I assumed Madam Pomfrey was examining Karlee.

"What happened!?" I asked.

"We we're just walking around after we talked to some Huffelpuffs about Justin. We were in the Transfiguration hallway when we found Justin and Nick. Karlee went to check on Justin and then she closed her eyes and started to sing a hymn. Justin started to move so she kept going. But the more she sang the more she began to overheat. She started to smoke. Peeves came and shouted that there was an attack. McGonagall came out and yelled for Karlee to stop but she either couldn't hear her or didn't listen. Then Justin sat up and Karlee fell over. Madam Pomfrey thinks that she petrified herself trying to save Justin."

We all stood there shocked. I don't think that I could stand to see her like that.

"Is she gonna be OK?" Asked George.

"I don't know. Madam Pomfrey said she doesn't know how transferring petrifaction will effect her. And she doesn't even know if the Mandrake potion will work on demigods." Said Bailey.

It was silent for a moment before I said, "Who knows how to send an Iris Message? We need to tell her family."

"I do." Said Bailey. "I'll go get a drachma and call Sally. She can let Percy know and I'm sure McGonagall will go get them."

"OK. We'll go ask Minnie." Said George.

Bailey's POV

"Hi Sally!" I said.

"Hi Bailey. Why are you calling me? Is everything OK?"

"Karlee got petrified trying to save a student. She's alive but she's in kind of a coma. Bring Percy with you. Minnie is going to come get you soon. Have Percy contact her siblings at camp. She might need a demigod healer."

"OK. I'll pick Percy up from his swim team practice and be ready to go in twenty minutes. Thanks for calling me Bailey." she ran her hand through the message and it disappeared.

I ran up to Minnie's office and told her that Sally and Percy would be ready in twenty minutes. She nodded and I made my way back downstairs.

Percy's POV

"Percy! Your mom just called. Your leaving. Get dressed." Said Coach Adrian.

I didn't know what that was about. Maybe I had forgot about a doctors appointment.

I walked to the locker room and changed. I walked out and saw mom standing my the door. She looked frantic. She looked at me as I walked over.

"Karlee got injured. We have to go." She said pulling me out of the room.

"What! What happened!? Is she OK?" I asked.

"She was saving a kid and she used her powers to much. She's in something like a coma." She explained.

"Perc. Honey you need to calm down. When we get home you need to call Chiron. He needs to send Will and Charlotte to Hogwarts. They will need to talk to the nurse to find the best way to treat Karlee. Then you need to call Annabeth. She will want to come with us." I nodded. Mom parked and placed her hand on my cheek. "She's gonna be OK."
