Chapter 56: Finally! No More Haikus!

Karlee's POV

I woke up. Finally! I looked around and saw Hermione in a bed next to me. I stood up and walked over to her. She must have fallen asleep there. I tried shaking her awake but that didn't work. I lifted up her arm it stayed there. I gasped. She had been petrified! "Oh my gods." I whispered.

"Miss Gray!" I spun around and saw Madam Pomfrey. "Your awake!"

"Yeah! My powers regenerated and I woke up." I said.

"That is amazing! I'm sure your friends and family would like to know that." She said.

"Wait they're here?" I asked.

"Yes. Sally, Percy, Annabeth, Will and Charlotte have come on the weekends. And your friends are here whenever they can be. Two of them always sleep here. Your family is asleep now. Just outside." She explained.

"How long has Mione been here?" I asked.

"She got here a week ago. You have been out for four weeks. It is Sunday."

"I missed a Quidditch game!?" I shouted.

"No it was canceled."

"You can't cancel Quidditch!" I said.

"That's what we thought. But Minnie managed to." I looked up and saw the twins. I smiled. They ran up to me and hugged me.

"We were so worried!" Said George.

"Yeah! Never do that to us again!" Added Fred.

"I'm not planning on it." I said. "I'm going to go say how to mum, Percy and everyone else." They nodded.

I walked out from behind the curtains. Char and Will were already awake. They ran up to me and hugged me. I hugged them and put a finger to my lips. They nodded. I walked up to Percy and jumped onto his lap. He jumped and uncapped Riptide. It just barely missed my lip.

"That's a nice way to greet you bestie!" I said.

He looked at me. It took him a minute to realize it was me. When he did he hugged me.

"You scared the crap out of us." He yelled. In all the commotion Annie and mum woke up. I hugged Annie. I turned to mum, she had tears in her eyes.

"I was so worried. I was scared you would never wake up." She pulled me into a hug. "You freaked us all out. I love you, Sweetheart."

I gasped. No one had ever said that to me before. "I love you too, mum." I felt tears run down my face.

I was walking into my dorm to change. I had ran into Ron and Harry in the Common Room. They told me about the giant spider, said that they were going to visit Hermione and gave me the "If you ever do this again I will beat the crap out of you" lecture for the tenth time and I was mentally preparing to get it from Ginny too.

I opened the door and saw Ginny brushing her hair. She saw me in the mirror and froze. She slowly turned around. She looked like she was going to yell. She surprised me by throwing her brush and running to me crying. I hugged her back. She sounded like she was trying to say something.

"What is it Ginny?" I asked.

"I did it, Karlee! I know it was me! I did that to you! It's all my fault! I'm so sorry!" She sobbed.

I stroked her hair and shushed her. "It's OK. It wasn't your fault. You aren't doing this on purpose. Someone is controlling you."

"I tried to get rid of it. But then Harry found it. He made me get it back. I feel like something worse is going to happen soon." She said.
