I woke up before sunrise. I got dressed, grabbed my backpack with an undetectable extension charm on it and made my way to Half-Blood hill. Thalia was already there with Grover.

"Morning." She yawned. "When is the sun rising?"

I looked to the east and listened for rock music. "About ten minutes."

"Wow. How do you know that?" Grover asked.

"Heavy metal rock." I said. They both nodded. A few minutes later Bianca and Zoe came jogging over to us.

"Where is Phoebe?" I asked.

"The Stolls put centaur blood in the inside of a shirt they gave her. She got horribly burned." Bianca said.

"Oh no." I said. "We have about five minutes until sunrise. Everyone put your things in the van. Zoe do you want to drive first or do you want me to?"

"Thoust can drive?" She said.

"Yeah. I was stuck in dad's sun chariot for like a month while I was in a coma so I learned." I explained.

"That must have sucked." Bianca said.

"Yeah it did." I said.

"I shall drive first. At the first rest area we will switch." Zoe said.

"Sound good." We all walked over to the car and got in. Zoe and Bianca were in front, Thalia and I were in the middle and Grover was in the back.

We got in the car and Bianca turned on the radio. Bohemian Rhapsody was playing. We all jammed out to it. It was really fun. Even Zoe knew most of the words.

I was shaken awake by Thalia. We were at a rest stop. I hopped out of the van and walked straight to the coffee. I hadn't gotten enough sleep and coffee always helped me be more alert in battles. So I got some just incase.

I caught up with Zoe, Thalia, Bianca, and Grover coming out of the store.

"Grover, are you sure?" Thalia was saying.

"Well... pretty sure. Ninety-nine percent. Okay, eighty-five percent."

"And you did this with acorns?" Bianca asked, she couldn't believe it. They were talking about Grover's tracking spell I assumed.

Grover looked offended. "It's a time-honored tracking spell. I mean, I'm pretty sure I did it right."

"D.C. is about sixty miles from here," Bianca said. "Nico and I..." She frowned. "We used to live there. That's... that's strange. I'd forgotten."

"I dislike this," Zoe said. "We should go straight west. The prophecy said west."

"Oh, like your tracking skills are better?" Thalia growled.

Zoe stepped toward her. "You challenge my skills, you scullion? You know nothing of being a Hunter!"

"Oh, scullion You're calling me a scullion? What the heck is a scullion?"

"Whoa, you two," I said. "Come on. Not again! We haven't fought that much yet. Let's keep it like that."

"Grover and Karlee are right," Bianca said. "D.C. is our best bet."

Zoe didn't look convinced, but she nodded reluctantly. "Very well. Let us keep moving."

I got in the drivers seat with Thalia in the passengers. I didn't trust her next to Zoe.

Finally, we stopped at the Smithsonian. Grover got the feeling that something powerful was here. I parked and we got out. We entered a building that said, NATIONAL AIR AND SPACE MUSEUM.
