My Soldier Bucky Barnes

The sleep over was really fun and we decided to make it an every Saturday night thing with the exception of mission's. We trudge down the hallway to the kitchen at the smell of food and see Steve making everyone breakfast . "Hey guys . I made bacon and eggs if you want some" he told us .

We all say form's of yes and sit behind the counter watching Steve cook. "So Tony wants us in the conference room this afternoon . Probably something about a mission or a party" Steve continued handing us our plates of food . "He wants you there to Audrey"

I stopped my chewing and looked at Steve confused. "I don't know he just said to bring you too" he defended himself as I started chewing again. I looked at the girl's and they shared the same expression before shrugging and turning back to their food .  I wonder what it could be about

* le time skip *

"So I think its about time we see what our dear Audrey over here can do" Tony said gesturing to me.  I gave him a suprised look . "We already know your skill set I just want to see if you'll be useful in the field"

"Yea ok " I said smiling

"Good and then we'll have a party to celebrate"

Everyone in the room groaned. I've never been to a party before but from the looks of it , they don't enjoy it .  I'll have to ask Nat and Wanda later . 

" Ok thats it I guess unless anyone else has anything to say" the billionare said

"Tony why exactly did you bring all of us in here to tell us this when you could have just told Audrey" Sam asked a bit annoyed

"Because I can " Stark retorts . "Ok now you guys can leave" he said shooing us away. 

I leave the room to head back to my own when Bucky calls out my name . " Hey Audrey wait" he says jogging up to me . "Hey Bucky" I said smiling

"Told ya they'd consider you for the Avengers" he said .

 I laughed at him. "I guess you were right"

"Hey incase your not doing anything later I was-" Bucky started but was cut off when the glass window next to us shattered and men in black jumped in . The impact knocked me and Bucky over . He got up right away to go fight but it took me a minute to get up . ow I definitely will have a bruise later

I stood up and pulled a piece of glass out of the side of my forehead. I looked at the intruders to see they were clad in Hydra uniforms with May leading them . "May ?" I asked as she launched at me . I fought back . 

We fought hand to hand which mostly consisted of throwing punches but also blocking them . I was lucky and punched her in the face knocking her back . She looked back up to me and wiped the blood from her nose and sent me an evil smirk. She held her hands towards the kitchen and pulled one of the knives from its place and make a throwing motion towards me sending the knife at me but I blocked it with a wall of ice . 

By now the other Avengers came in to fight off the Hydra agent's that just kept coming as I took of May .  She continued throwing kitchen object's at me and I sent Ice Dagger's toward's her. Each of us to quick to be hit by the other . 

Finally after having enough I placed my hands on the ground freezing it over like an ice skating rink. May lost her balance and fell. She tried to stand back up but failed . I looked and saw that the other Hydra agents fell aswell and the Avengers were getting back up . May finally gained her balance and went to throw one of the fallen knifves at me again but I beat her to it and sent an iceacle through her hart. 

I looked at her in desperation and regret hoping that she'll ever forgive me. Her mouth opened a gape and she was gasping for air . She finally fell over and stopped breathing. 

I leaned against the wall next to me for support and slid down against it trying to catch my breath and stop the on coming panic attack. I just killed a woman who was like a sister to me . I killed my sister . She was probably just following orders and I killed her for doing that. 

I look back over to where her body was and see Hydra soldiers picking her up and retreating. I felt the wall behind me start to cover in frost . I needed to calm myself down but I couldn't . I felt a warm hand on my shoulder but it pulled away for a second before retaking it's spot and looked to see Bucky kneeling infront of me. 

"Audrey you need to calm down" he said firmly but calm . I could see his breath so I knew I was creating a problem . "Come on breath with me . In and out . In and out" he said doing what he told me to do. I focused my attention and copied his actions . "Bucky I killed her. I killed my sister." I said when I was calm enough to speak.

"Its ok you did it in self defense . You didnt want to but you had too"

I noded at him but still blamed myself. I look around and see the room covered in frost . "I'm so sorry " I said looking around .

"Its ok it'll melt . Tony already askedF.R.I.D.A.Y. to turn up the heat a bit"

"Is he mad ?"

" I dont think so . But I'm sure you proved yourself to be a valuable asset" he said trying to cheer me up . 

"Really ?"

"Really" he said helping me stand up

"Is anyone hurt ?" I asked concerned

"Just a couple scratches and buises but everyone will he fine"

I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding. "Sorry again about all this" I said gesturing to the practically destroyed room. The windows were shattered and glass littered the flooring. The furniture was flipped over and the walls were smashed ,  everything was covered in a thin layer of ice.

"Hey" he said taking my face in his hands to turn my attention back to him . "Its ok" he said trying to reassure me. I nodded again . "Lets go watch a movie on my floor to help get you mind off of this , ok ?" he suggested . I mumbled a quiet "ok" and followed him , stealing a quick glance where May's body layed minutes ago.
