"Cora?" Colby said bringing me out of my thoughts, "I'm sorry." I said shaking my head, "you okay?" He said with a worried expression. "Yeah, just thinking. Did you ask me something?" I said quietly. "Yeah, did you want a snack? I need some water." He said and gestured to the snack booth in the corner of the course. "Um..sure yeah." I said with a smile as he grabbed my hand. We made our way over to the booth where a girl in her teens was working.

"Hi what can I- oh my god are you Colby Brock?" She gasped out as soon as she looked at him. "Yeah, how are you?" He said and dropped my hand, smiling widely at the fan. "I'm good wow I can't believe you're here!" She said happily then finally looked at me, her face dropped for a second, but she recovered quickly. "I'm sorry! What can I get you?" She said and straightened her uniform out, "it's okay, what's your name?" She smiled and brushed her hair behind her ear, "Jane." Colby nodded, "nice to meet you Jane. Did you want a picture or anything?" He said causing my heart to flutter. He was so sweet to his fans, you would think he would get tired of constantly being recognized but he never did.

"I-if you don't mind." She said timidly and reached for her phone which was in the back pocket of her jeans. "Here I'll take it for you if you want." I said and held my hand out for her phone. She smiled slightly, but there was still a glint of hate in her eyes. I knew she was probably jealous, or heard some rumor about me, that's why she was acting like that.

I never went on social media, I didn't like to see what people were saying about me now that I was public with Colby and I could only imagine what people were saying after looking this girl in the eyes. I still smiled though as she handed me her phone. She walked around the booth and hugged Colby as I took a couple pictures of them, "okay I took a couple." I said and handed the phone back to her, "thank you." She said and turned back to Colby giving him one more hug. "Thank you so much, okay now what can I get you." She said and walked back behind the stand. "Two bottles of water, a pretzel, and what do you think Cora?" He said and wrapped his arm around my shoulder,

"Um..maybe some popcorn." I said timidly, not liking the stare I was getting from the girl. What was her problem??

"Y-Yeah sure." Colby said and furrowed his brows at me in confusion. I plastered a smile on my face then turned back to the girl. "And a popcorn please." I said nicely then averted my eyes again. He paid for everything then grabbed the snacks, handing me the water bottles. As soon as we were far enough from the stand he nudged me with his shoulder, "you okay?" His voice full of concern. "Yeah, I'm fine." I lied. I could feel her eyes burning into me from a distance but I didn't dare turning around. I had a sudden urge to see what people were saying about me. It had to be bad if this girl was looking at me like that. "You're sure?" He said and stopped me from walking anymore so I could face him. "I'm fine." I said with a soft smile, then leaned up to kiss him quick, before starting to walk again.

"There you guys are! You missed the last hole." Sam said as we made our way over to our friends. "That's okay, we wanted snacks." Colby said and took a bite out of the pretzel in his hand. "Ah! Did you get any for us?" Kat said and laughed, "I got popcorn, you can have some if you want." I said gestured to the popcorn in Colby's hand. "Aren't you hungry?" Colby said with more concern in his voice. "I was..but I lost my appetite." I shrugged. Colby was still looking at me though, "I'm fine. Just getting a little tired." I said and smiled. "We can go if you want." He said sweetly and grabbed one of the water bottles in my hand. "No it's okay. Come on, it's your turn." I said and gestured back to the course. He nodded and handed me his pretzel before walking to take his turn.

"You okay?" Kat said quietly, "yeah, do I not look okay?" I sighed out in frustration. "You look like you're unwraveling." She mumbled and I shook my head, "I'm fine! I'm seriously fine!" I laughed out. Yeah I was a little bothered but it wasn't anything that should be alarming. Sam nudged me on the shoulder, "your boyfriend sucks at golf." He said trying to lighten the mood, while also trying to take the attention off of me.

"Watch this." Jake said and walked up to Colby, he let out a loud moan in Colby's ear causing him to jerk forward, sending his ball flying down the course. "Jake! Save that for the bedroom." He hissed with a laugh as we all erupted into giggles.

"Way to go babe!!" Tara yelled and laughed as Colby came back to me. "I'm still better at this than you are Jake." Colby said and wrapped his arm around my waist. "Whatever you say brother."

The rest of the night was filled with laughter and fun, I still had an aching in the back of my mind, I knew I shouldn't act on it and I knew better than to let it bother me but I couldn't shake this feeling. I thought about talking to Colby about it but he would just tell me that I'm perfect the way I am and that I can't let it bother me but that's far from true. The way that girl was looking at me made me believe there was something being said about me that was so horrible. I needed to find out what it was, even if it was dangerous to my mental health. I needed to find out what was being said.

"Did you have fun?" Colby said as we drove down the road, "yeah I did." I said and smiled, squeezing our entangled hands. "I'm glad baby, did you still want that smoothie?" I sighed, "no, I seriously lost my appetite, I guess this pregnancy is really gonna be a pain in the ass." I said with a laugh. "Well I'll get you whatever you want, whenever you want it." I smiled as we pulled into the driveway.

"I'm exhausted" I said with a yawn, getting out of the car. "You want me to lay with you?" I shook my head, "no it's okay, I think I'll be fine." I said and walked up the stairs. Colby followed behind me anyways. "Cora." He said as he closed the door to his room. "Yes?" I asked, taking my shoes off, and sliding onto the bed. "Something is bothering you." He stated and leaned against the door, "I'm fine!" I snapped causing him to raise his brows at me. I had never snapped at him like that. "I'm sorry.." I whispered, immediately regretting everything. "It's okay baby..." he mumbled and walked over to me pulling me to him. "You can talk to me. What's going on? I know it happened at the snack booth, was it that fan?" He was being so sweet, and I was simply acting like a bitch.

"I....I don't know. I think I'm just in my head." I sighed, leaning into him. "About what?" He said as he rubbed my arms slowly. "Your fans." I mumbled, almost inaudibly. "Did something happen?" He mumbled pressing his cheek to my head as he held me. "No. Again, it's just in my head I think." I sighed, "maybe sleeping will help. I'm sorry for ruining the date." I said and leaned away from him again, "you didn't ruin anything, get some sleep baby girl, I love you." He said and got up, pulling the covers back so I could get in the bed. Once I was in he kissed my forehead then left the room.

I knew I should have slept, but instead I pulled my phone out.

I knew this was going to be a bad idea but I pulled out Instagram, my heart racing a million miles a minute.
