"I have a question," Y/N starts, looking up from her bowl of cereal to gaze at the villain sitting on the bench from her spot on the bottom bunk. Saros hums for her to get on with it, not bothering to tear his arctic eyes away from the pages of his book. He could hear her crunching after she took a bite of her breakfast before words follow after.

"I've been wondering how your hideout hasn't been found yet. I mean, this place might be in the middle of a field, but it's just outside the city and big enough that it'd draw attention. Personally, if I were the one hunting down a villain, I'd find this spot suspicious no matter how abandoned it looks from the outside, but when the police interrogated me, it seemed like they didn't have a clue where you've been hiding." The man chuckles softly, finding her question a tad amusing, and finally looks up from his read.

"Well, for one, those dogs are complete idiots. Why do you think they depend on a hero to save their city? They're all fat, lazy pigs who wait on Herald to solve all their problems. Second, my cloaking abilities are not only limited to myself. Think of it like..." The man pauses, trying to think up a good way to explain it. "You're looking for something and can't find it only for it to be in the most obvious place — that sort of thing." He twirls his hand to accentuate his words before returning to his book.

"Huh, that's actually pretty cool." A hidden smirk shows itself on the villain's face, his ego swelling from hearing his powers being referred to as cool. After a few more spoonfuls, Y/N finishes her cereal and sets the empty bowl on the floor before getting up to sit beside Saros on the bench. "There's something else too."

"Go ahead." Unbothered by her change in seating, the man keeps his nose stuck in his book as he listens to his roommate speak.

"You don't have to answer if you're uncomfortable with it, but why'd you decide to become a villain? You're so powerful; you could've been an amazing hero. I know you had a rough upbringing and all, but I would figure that would make someone want to better the world." The villain shrugs nonchalantly at the woman before turning the page.

"It's all just fun and games, really. Crime is something I'm good at. Besides, I don't find the idea of playing the hero appealing — so many rules to follow," his answer was more or less what she expected to hear, yet it still did not sit right with her. This man has killed people, blown up many buildings and robbed, along with whatever else he finds "entertaining". He doesn't care much for those he hurts.

"So, killing people is just fun and games to you?" She asks, a frown on her face, which only deepens when his response is a calm nod.

"Yeah." Able to sense the disapproving stare sent to him from the woman, Saros flicks his eyes up to meet hers. "What?" Y/N shakes her head, saying nothing. She didn't have anything to say, really. She didn't expect him to say otherwise. The villain rolls his eyes at this. "Oh, like you've never wanted to kill someone before."
