Y/N awoke the next morning with the sun on her face, something she was unaccustomed to thanks to the shade of the bottom bunk, but did not find this at all suspicious due to her sleepy state of mind; rather, she did not realize where she was until her E/C eyes had opened into a squint. Even so, it took her a few moments of blinking for the fog to drift off and clear her vision. Brows knitted in confusion, the woman turned her head to look at the space behind her and found it completely vacant.
"What the..." was all she muttered as she slowly sat up and rubbed her temples. Her head was pounding, an indication that she had a touch too much to drink last night. Y/N nearly jumped out of her skin when the door to the bedroom was opened and looked over to see the villain she shared a room with strolling in.
"Breakfast!" he announced loudly seemingly to spite her, sounding a little too cheerful, almost like he was up to something. With a groan and one eye closed, the woman dragged her hand down the side of her face, while Saros sat on the window's bench with a bag of food. "Maybe I should get a small table?" he mumbles to himself, realizing that he's been eating in his room a lot more lately.
"What the heck did I miss? When did I get up here?" Y/N wonders in a groggy voice, leaning back on one palm, while her other hand lethargically peeled the blanket off her lap.
"Oh, you don't remember?" The man smirked, wondering if he should mess with her, but the truth itself was quite amusing as well. His roommate calmly shook her head, making no motion to come down the ladder of the bunk bed just yet. The thought never even crossed her mind. He thought this funny as well. He would've figured she'd assumed something had happened between the two of them. Perhaps it was too soon for her to come up with that, considering it looked like she had just woken up. Still, he expected her to be a bit more panicked when he saw her. "Well, apparently, the bottom bunk is going to give you a concussion."
"Hmm... Drunk me does have a point." The woman chuckles, causing the villain to shake his head at her with a slight grin.
"You know the bench is comfortable to sleep on too," he suggests.
"Yeah, but a mattress is softer, especially this one. How 'bout I take the top bunk and you use the bench?" she jokes, and Saros was shocked to see her flop back down and make herself comfortable on his bed again, which he regarded with a flat expression.
"Don't push it, Y/N. Come down now. I brought doughnuts." He heard a giggle and felt his face get a little heated as she sat up again and sent him a smile before starting down the ladder. At the mention of doughnuts, she was reminded of her first meal with the big bad monster of Wallowdale as his captive.
