"Gago ako may anak? Puta ang bata-bata ko pa!"
I just looked at him unbelievably. He pouted bago inistart muli ang sasakyan. Then he continue driving.
"Who knows?"
"Do you think I'll court you if I know that I have a baby?" his voice is now serious. "Hindi ako gago, Yuan. Mukhang gago siguro oo."
I pursed my lips unable to speak. I think I judged him too harshly.
"I've been in a relationship with Michelle but nothing happen between us." he said. "She broke up with me because she realized that she still love her ex."
Nag-iwas ako ng tingin, "Then why did she slapped you?"
I heard him sighed. "I told her to do it."
Nagulat ako kaya muli akong napatingin sa kaniya. His eyes were fixed on tbe road, though.
"B-But why?"
Tipid siyang ngumiti.
"So that, I'll go back to my senses."
Tahimik kami buong byahe papunta sa mall dahil hindi na rin ako nag-tanong pa sa kaniya. Hindi ko na rin naman na alam kung ano pa 'yung mga itatanong ko.
He parked his car at the parking lot underground. Nauna siyang lumabas ng sasakyan at pumikit muna ako ng mariin sa loob bago nagpasiya na lumabas.
I was about to open the door pero nauna siya. Napairap na lang ako.
"May kamay ako." singhal ko.
He just smirked. I think he's back to being an asshole now.
Sabay kaming naglakad papunta sa entrance ng mall dito sa underground parking lot.
"If you're worrying that I'm the father of Michelle's baby, then stop it." bigla niyang sabi.
Nakapasok na kami sa loob ng mall at hindi ko alam kung saan na kami pupunta. Wala naman siyang sinabi kung ano yung specific naming gagawin.
"I'm not the father at wala akong balak anakan 'yung ibang babae dahil isa lang 'yung gusto kong anakan."
Sa gulat ko ay padabog ko siyang hinarap. Nakita ko naman ang malapad niyang ngisi habang nakataas pa ang isa niyang kilay.
"Alam mo ang gago mo talaga."
He chuckled as I walked faster pero kaagad niya din namang nahabol. This asshole!
"Sure ka dito mo lang gustong kumain?" he asked unbelievably. "If you're worried that I don't have money for fancy restaurant--"
I cut him off, "Nah. I know you have money. It's just that I'm craving for fries and sundae."
He sighed defeatedly.
"Fine."
I gave him a smile before entering the fastfood chain. Naghanap muna kami ng upuan dahil medyo madaming tao na kumakain.
"Sure kana dito?" tanong niya pa.
"Oo nga kulit." I pointed the vacant seat, "Doon tayo."
Umupo ako pagkalapit namin while Nine stayed standing.
"Ako na oorder, ano sa 'yo?"
I'm so excited to eat here kasi tuwing sila Alexa ang kasama ko ayaw na ayaw nilang kumakain dito. I don't know with those girls, mas bet 'yung mas mahal.
"I want a chicken fillet, chicken sandwich, jumbo fries and a sundae!"
"Sayo lang 'yan?" hindi makapaniwalang tanong niya.
