The sun was shining brightly against the blue sky. It was especially warm today, which didn't exactly bother Himura. She preferred rainy weather, though. It was cool, and when the raindrops hit against a flat surface, it created a soothing sound.
"Whaat? Some Class A kids are getting some extra lessons? That means some of you failed?!" Monoma exclaimed, drooling in sarcasm and contempt. "Huhh? How weird is that?! Everyone knows Class A is totally superior to Class B, but now this?! Wow!"
Kendo swiftly whacked him in the neck and apologetically smiled towards the class. "Sorry about him. Again."
"Koemi! Let's head onto the bus!" Uraraka chirped, quickly heading inside with Asui.
"Are you two going to sit together?" Himura quietly asked, looking around for an empty spot.
"Kero, just sit next to us, Koemi," Asui said as she took the window seat. The bus was filling up at this point. "Oh, Jiro and Yaoyorozu beat you to it."
The two girls seemed to notice. Yaoyorozu parted her lips into an 'o' shape.
"Oh, goodness! Did you want to sit here, Koemi?" Yaoyorozu asked, as Jiro looked at Himura with a worried look as well.
"Huh? N-No, it's fine! Don't worry," Himura replied, trying to reassure the two concerned girls. They visibly relaxed and gave her apologetic smiles.
The peach-haired girl eventually moved to the seat directly in front of Asui and Uraraka.
Himura giggled lightly as she propped herself up at her knees, peering towards them from over her seat. She placed her arms on the top of the seating, almost crossing them. "Well," she chirped. "At least I get the window seat."
"The window seat is nice, isn't it?" Asui slightly pulled down the window to let the cool breeze in.
"No fair..!" Uraraka whined, leaning towards the green-haired girl. "I want some wind too."
Himura beamed from ear to ear upon seeing the two girls' interactions until a voice averted her attention away from them.
"Is this seat taken?"
The girl's smile softened upon seeing the familiar half-and-half boy. "No, it's not."
Himura looked back at her two other friends to see that they were still lightheartedly arguing about the window seat, and chortled.
"Alright, troublemakers, find a seat to take and stay there." Aizawa stepped onto the bus and blankly stared at the students. He locked eyes with Himura, who stared right back at him and hastily sat down to avoid getting rebuked. He expressed a ghost of a smile and sat down at his own seat.
The bus began to rev to life.
The peach-haired girl felt giddy. I've never went to a camp before! This'll be fun. I can't wait to look at the scenery, munch on snacks, and then sleep the rest of the ride. Yeah. This'll be fun.
The class began to chat happily among themselves once again, much to Aizawa's dismay.
Himura quickly turned her body towards the window, happily swinging her legs at her seat again. She intently watched the cars that drove by, her head furtively moving along with them. It was as if her eyes couldn't move on its own, so she had to use her head to do it for her.
The half-and-half boy who sat besides her peered around the bus. He assumed that he could just listen to music and nap the whole way through, but for some reason, he felt that it would be wasteful. After all, he would be shutting off any opportunity to have a chat with Midoriya or Himura, who both sat either side of him.
