"YEAAH!"

"This is great! Greater than great!"

"Our whole class passed the first round!"

"Now, will all hundred of you please watch the screen."

Himura turned to look and furrowed her brows. The screen showed the entirety of the arena that they were just in, sitting quietly. And then, everything began to blow up. It startled all of the students, as they felt the floor rumble and heard the loud booms from the outside.

"Round two's the last one! You examinees will venture into the ruins as bystanders and prove your worth when it comes to rescuing innocent victims. You will not act as ordinary civilians, but as those who have hypothetically earned their provisional licenses. You're being tested on how well you respond in rescue missions."

The room began to chatter. Himura lightly gasped when she saw that several elderly people and children began to make their way into the ruins. Her worry skyrocketed—will they be okay? They are professional actors, right..?

"Everyone there is a highly trained professional rescuee and in very high demand as of late! Please welcome the good people of Help Us Company, or H.U.C. for short. The members of H.U.C. will be feigning injuries all across the field. It is your task to rescue them."

She breathed a sigh of relief at that. Of course they are professionals. Why wouldn't they be?

"You will all be scored on how well you perform these rescues. Those who attain the required points at the end of the test will pass. We'll start in ten minutes, so take your bathroom breaks now."

And so the break began. Himura and Uraraka lightly chatted with one another, talking about random things that seemed to have nothing to do with the test. That was, until Kaminari and Mineta started to make a scene with Midoriya.

Uraraka quietly watched on, the smile on her bubbly face slowly fading away. She seemed to be in deep thought.

"What's wrong?" Himura frowned, seeing the pensive expression.

"I don't know ... it's just ... I was fine when I was fighting along with Deku earlier, but now I feel out of it when I'm around him. I don't like it..."

"Maybe let him know how you're feeling about him..?" Himura wasn't exactly sure what to say. After all, the peach-haired girl didn't understand why Uraraka was feeling that way. "If he's bothering you, be direct about it."

"W-Well, no, that's not it," Uraraka sighed. Part of her had hoped that the clueless Himura would understand her struggles. But the poor girl had no experience in love. Or, anything remotely related to crushes. "You wouldn't understand."

"I'm sorry," Himura mumbled, mustering up a sympathetic smile. "If you're not comfortable being direct about it ... you can always come to me to talk about him, okay? I-If you don't mind. I just think it'll make you feel stressed out if you bottle it all up. I don't know. Is that how that works..?"

The peach-haired girl looked incredibly worried at this point, fearing that she was completely misunderstanding Uraraka's problem.

"Hey, don't stress out for me," Uraraka giggled. She smiled back. "But sure, I will. Thanks, Ko-chan."

"Terrorists have launched a massive attack!" said the man on the intercom. Himura's heart quickened. "There's wide-scaled destruction throughout the city. Buildings are collapsing and people are getting hurt! With most of the roads out of commission, rescue and relief squads are having a hard time reaching the scene! Until they arrive, it's up to you heroes to take charge and rescue civilians!"
