The Next Day

"For today's basic hero training, it's turned into a class consisting of three instructors—me, All Might, and another teacher," explained Aizawa.

"Excuse me! What'll we be doing today?" asked Sero, startling the students around him.

Aizawa held up a card that had 'RESCUE' written in bold, blue letters. "Disasters, shipwrecks, and everything in between. It's rescue training."

The class began to bustle with noise. Himura lightly fiddled with her pencil, not particularly paying any attention to Aizawa's speech, but looked up when he asked for their attention once more.

"Hey, I'm not done," he mumbled. "You can decide whether or not you want to wear your costume. Because there are costumes that can limit your abilities too."

Turning to the class, he continued, "The training will take place off campus, so we're taking a bus. That is all. Start getting ready."

Almost immediately, Himura stood up to retrieve her costume, alongside the rest of her classmates. The only student who didn't come up was Midoriya.

After retrieving her little case, she went up to the green-haired boy and asked why he wasn't getting his.

"Oh, it got ruined during our battle training, so the support company is fixing it. I hope..." He mumbled the last part to himself, and averted his gaze.

"Ah, okay. Well, see you outside then." Himura gave him a small smile and made her way to a place where she could easily slip into her costume.

A whistle could be heard from afar, and Class 1-A turned to find the source of the noise. It was Iida, who held onto a whistle.

"Class 1-A, gather round! Form two lines by your student numbers in order to make boarding the bus go smoothly!" he ordered. A proud and determined face graced his features, but little did he know, the bus' seating arrangement wasn't what he expected.

Thankfully, Himura managed to sit near Uraraka. The auburn-haired girl ended up being paired with Yaoyorozu, though, but they seemed to be getting along well. The peach-haired girl had to sit next to Todoroki, who she remembered as the boy with the extremely cool Quirk. They didn't really talk, and Himura didn't mind. She simply sat in silence, too.

The class happily bickered and joked around, and the bus ride felt quite short as a result. Eventually they arrived at their destination, and Aizawa ordered them to file out of the bus.

Upon stepping out, Himura spotted a small individual wearing a space suit of some sort. They looked adorable, and so she smiled at them.

"Oh, I love Thirteen!" exclaimed Uraraka.

"Let's go inside without delay," said the space hero, gesturing them to head inside the giant dome-shaped building.

"Look forward to working with you!" Class 1-A replied.

When they finally entered the building, Himura marveled at the sight. Before her were several environments that were all sectioned into four distinct groups. There was a giant mountain at one end of the facility—and a dilapidated city on another end.

"A shipwreck, a landslide, a fire, a windstorm, et cetera—" Thirteen explained, gesturing towards each section. "It is a training ground that I made with different types of accidents and disasters. It's called the 'Unforseen Simulation Joint', or, USJ for short."

"Thirteen, where's All Might?" asked Aizawa. "He was supposed to meet us here."

Thirteen held up three fingers. "About that ... it seems like he did too much hero work on his way to work and ran out of time, so he's resting in the lounge."
